****in hell, what was going on with McCall in that Lewis fight?? Some of the shots he took in that fight were ridiculous and it looked like he could of done that all night. I'd also go for Mccullough, he was in with some of the hardest punchers in his division and still never touched the canvas. The morales fight was a bit of a classic and morales himself even says mccullough was the toughest fighter he has fought. Obviously Chavez Jr should be on that list, I cant understand why he is not
Mcullough should be high up there ridiculous chin, dont know how he could take the punches he does. I dont know what it would take to knock him out. Toney as well, took shots from big punchers middleweight to heavyweight.
ha ha just went onto youtube to check out mccullough vs morales, there is a great replay after the first round where it shows Mccullough getting hit flush on the chin but it doesnt even break his stride. The commentator (who i think is george foreman) even mentions it, this continued for the whole 12 rounds......
Morales landed an uppercut in the second round that wouldve destroyed any other mans pride. McCullough is one tough SOB.
but as wayne said it was mental toughness, not just physical. "chin" he said was being able to take a shot and say "**** it, I'm gonna stay on my feet"
**** it, i'll post the first 2 rounds....i'll look out for tha uppercut in rd 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4Nl8kok5dc
hmm says... damn bro who's in your avy. everytime i see that pic i stare for like a good 3 seconds... what's her name?
actually round 11& 12 is even more brutal....the crowd were loving it, as was mccullough...I dont think Morales was enjoying it that much though!!
Tex Cobb took a beating from Holmes and just kept coming, when asked about a rematch he commented that Holmes hands couldn't take that level of abuse again.
