    well yes calzaghe had a good chin but being knocked down by an 80 year old hopkins and 65 year old jones puts a damper on his chances

    Calzaghe DOES have a good chin, but there's no way he is in any top 10 list of chins. At all.

    It's a good list, not great. I'm a Marciano fan but Lamotta and Chuvalo are above him. Basilio had massive heart but I don't know if he's a legit top 10 nor do I know if Fullmer is.

    I think McCall needs to be on the list... Hagler shouldn't be #1 nor should Monzon be above Lamotta.

    Skelton has to make a list of tough chin guys, he gets hit with HW power and stands there.

    McCall should be on there. I've always like Chuvalo as first on Chin lists. Look at who he fought and how many fights he had. He never went down. That's big time.

    Not a fighter who has a name but Jack 'Cast Iron' Casey from Sunderland definately deserves a menion here - i wrote an article on the guy and he had 224 fights without getting koed - i think he got knocked down about 5 times. He attributed his great chin o eating seafood and when he died his jawbone was put in a museum.
    Heres the link to his record

    On the world scale you cant argue with la motta and marciano and ali also deserves a mention - he never took a ten count and was only stopped once by larry holmes at the end of his career

    Peter Buckley has the reputation as one of the absolute worst boxers ever, with a record of 32( 8)*-256(10). only 10 by stoppage? And he has faced some big, big punchers, that is one tough ****, with one iron chin.

    * thats 32-8 Kos
