    Marciano vs LaSatrza.

That fight amazes me every time i watch it.

Rock fought like a snow-ball effect. The more Ronald hit him - the more he induced a tornado of punishment upon himself.

Im sure a single body shot lifted Starza clean off his feet at one stage.

Tyson Vs P.Thomas was anther great performance by the champ.

I wasn't impressed with the Lastarza fight he was virtually defence-lesss after the 8th yet Marciano couldn't get rid of him until the 11 th, and he continually fouled him into the bargain.I don't think Lastarza merited a title shot.

Tyson V Thomas was text book finishing:good

Performances that really stand out as being something unique in the history of the sport for me:

    Sullivan Killrain
    McVea Jeanette III
    Willard Dempsey
    Louis Schmeling I
    Louis Schmeling II
    Patterson Liston I
    Foreman Ali
    Foreman Frazier
    Tyson Spinks
    Moorer Foreman

Just missing the cut, Dempsey Fulton, Louis Walcott II, Lewis Klitschko.

In a pound for pound sense you would include Corbett Fitzsimmons and Walker Sharkey.

Just like the Kockel fight , Rock did nothing for the first 7 rounds. Warming himself up, having a good time. Taking punches to charge himself up.

Starza was a very good boxer. Undefeated gloden gloves champ I believe. Good mover and had an excellent chin.

    Clay - Liston I
    Frazier - Ali (FOTC)
    Ali - Foreman
    Ali - Frazier III

With respect to Tyson - Spinks, I don't call that a great performance when one of the fighters is scared out of his mind before the fight even starts.

    HOLMES vs Leon Spinks
    BOWE vs Holyfield I
    RUDDOCK vs Dokes
    MERCER vs Morrison
    MOORER vs Cooper
