Much better. Frampton would never have won a World featherweight Title back then. Frampton was good but only fought in little bursts and never throw alot. Harrison would have outworked him and beat him, no problem. Frampton wasn't better than Michael Brodie. If Brodie was around at the same time as Frampton, he would have won a world title.

I think I will respectfully disagree with you on this. Frampton will likely be in the hall of fame. Harrison and Brodie will only be in it if they pay it a visit.

The statement was Harrison and Brodie would beat Frampton - the poster above is correct.

In Jin Chi would have also beat Frampton for me.

    A tough era

TBF no one near Rigo's actual weight wanted a piece of him.

Its all about opinions. Facts are Harrison won 8 world title fights, compared to Frampton's 4. Harrison fought in era when the Featherwight division was at its peak.

Also facts are Frampton is a 2 weight world champion, and Harrison isn't. And Frampton entered the top 10 P4P, and Frampton had better wins.

I like both and rate btw. ability wise I think it's hard to separate them .. both were every good. But I think Frampton definitely achieved more.

Ryan Burnett is worthy of being talked about. After just 4 years of being a pro, he was unified world champion at the age of just 25.

Shame that injuries cut his career short. He was a talent for sure.

Was going to say him. Think I mentioned him in the ‘boxers who disappeared’ thread. Sad what happened to him.

I can see an argument for Harrison, but Brodie? No chance.

If people are going to include Lewis they could at least put him 1st. Lewis and Calzaghe, then it's a bit of a drop off.

In some ways a top list is a bit pointless when it contains at least three distinct levels, and the top 2 are clear runaway winners. But enough about Scottish football.
