Harada vs Jofre I and II
    Harada vs Rudkin
    Rose vs Rudkin
    Olivares vs Rose

The Golden Age of Bantams definitly produced some great skill filled matches.

EDIT: Rudkin vs Walter McGowan was another great fight from that era.

All great fights, and you know what they say about alike minds.

Does anyone think any Zarate bouts could slip in here?

I suppose it depends on what you think of the level of competition that he faced outside of Zamora and Pintor. The Zamora fight was a sidewinder, but I don't know how high I'd rate it in terms of skill. And the Pintor fight is a bit disappointing at times IMO.

Still, I've not watched any other fights of Zarate's for quite some time apart from the Batista one (in which the latter displays a good level of competency IMO before Zarate breaks him down.)

    Ruben Olivares vs. Lionel Rose
    Lionel Rose vs. Fighting Harada
    Rafael Herrera vs. Ruben Olivares
    Rafael Herrera vs. Venice Borkhorsor
Rafael Herrera vs. Chucho Castillo II
Chucho Castillo vs. Ruben Olivares I & II
    Fighting Harada vs. Bernardo Caraballo
    Miguel Lora vs. Raul Perez
    Carlos Zarate vs. Alberto Davila
    Lupe Pintor vs. Alberto Davila
Fighting Harada vs. Jose Medel II
    Carlos Zarate vs. Paul Ferreri
    Fighting Harada vs. Alan Rudkin
    Lionel Rose vs. Alan Rudkin
    Lupe Pintor vs. Eijiro Murata
Jeff Chandler vs. Eijiro Murata I
Walter McGowan vs. Salvatore Burruni II

I'm going to have to watch the Davila-Zarate fight again - haven't seen it for a long time. My memory is of Zarate being too strong and complete, but Davila was a really neat little operator at his best. Stumbling across Zarate, Gomez, Pintor and Lora in a single lifetime could probably be construed as being a tad unfortunate.

Your memory of it is pretty much right. Davila lands some beautiful punches, but he's well and truly outgunned. Even so there's a lot of skill on display by both guys there.

Rose/Sakurai is up there with the best I've seen from a technical standpoint.

Let me know how you scored it as well. I've wondered why this fight hasn't been brought up as a black mark against Rose before. Sakurai makes the otherwise fluid and technically sound Rose look plodding at times. I was very surprised by his skill level.

I'll add Orlando Canizales-Clarence "Bones" Adams to the ones already mentioned.

Yeh the Sakurai-Rose fight is very good.

I felt Rose just nicked it, but as you say Sakurai made him look plodding although I felt he did this by forcing Rose out of his comfort zone by making him take the offensive. Although I thought Rose gutted it out to just nick it.

I do not think it is a black mark for Rose at all.

    Well I won't argue with that selection:D:D

Davila vs Pintor is one of my favourites along with
    Olivares vs Castillo 2
