True. He was a much, much better fighter than guys who don't make Frank's **** list like Nardiello and Cook.

Though there is little film on the matter one way or the other, I take Jeff off the list also.

Trevor Berbick is a **** pick as well. He UD'd a good version of Pinklon Thomas in a world title fight, so how the hell can he have been one of the least skilled fighters ever? :nut

These 2 were huge compared to their opponents and were sometimes even stopped by their dwarfed opponents , this is the antithesis of skill.

Neither , it's just you not knowing what skill is about.
    Just see my post above

Viscous Maussa was poor, a good chin and right hand though but hilarious to try and watch him use a speedball. If anyone else saw him try I'm sure you'll be laughing right now at the memory of it

Some of the old timers are prehistoric technically, not their fault as the sport was still developing

Margarito, Limon, Chacon and Mickey Ward also come to mind

ok, switch out bob foster for Mzonke Fana for starters. now take out vargas and replace him with a boxer known as "Read a ****ing Book and Watch some ****ing Fights". You probably haven't heard of him but well worth the research

Your pick of Bob Foster is just ridiculous and can't be justified by any stretch of your feeble imagination.

These are nonsensical choices. Ward because he wasn't a world champion, but wouldn't be in the top 10 worst boxers to win a world title even if he had won one, and the rest because they were all more skilled than many, many other world champs.

Margarito was not versatile and had a dire defence, but he was infinitely more talented than many of the other slobs that have won world titles over the past 20 or so years. You don't beat down Miguel Cotto, knock out Kermit Cintron twice, handily defeat Joshua Clottey, stop Antonio Diaz, Andrew Lewis and a young Sergio Martinez, fight Daniel Santos on an equal footing above your best weight, and push a prime Paul Williams all the way if you don't have a bit of offensive ring craft. The guy has done too much to be a viable contender here.

Compare that to the best wins/performances of guys like Gavin Rees and Nicky Cook, or Nikolay Valuev and Henry Akinwande.

(I'm not even going to touch the mentions of Chacon and Limon, too ridiculous to even address seriously)

chacon and limon get punished because they, along with boza-edwards, were in some of the 80s greatest wars. i think because they were in slugfests, there is the assumption they were wild brawlers
