Akiwande has a decent skillset, much better outboxer than Margarito and a better skillset, I'm not saying Margarito was garbage but his strengths weren't based on his skillset, it was about his workrate, chin, strength, heart and relentless nature

Akiwande is allot better HW than Ruiz, he was schooling McCall too before being caught

Exactly. Not every fighter who got into wars had no skills. Arturo Gatti had nice offensive skills I always thought, just couldn't defend. He could mix it up nicely when he wanted to.

Yasatsune Uehara. Eddie Gazo. Afredo Layne. Many other guys in the lower weights far worse than the ones on the list.

Well, i actually saw Nardiello in the flesh and know someone who fought him. Sounds to me like you just picked his name out from Boxrec.

Well, again Frank, Willard was the same size as Morris, and had comparable stature to McCarty, while Primo was the same size as Godfrey, and actually shorter than Campolo and Impellittiere. Loughran took both Campolo and Impellittiere to school, but Primo got the best of Tommy in a match unquestionably on the level. Carnera had the good jab Campolo, Impellittiere, Max Baer, Simon, Godfrey and other similarly sized heavyweights of the era lacked. When HE took on opposition his own size, he prevailed, just as Willard did with Morris and McCarty.

That because most of their similarly sized opponents were total garbage

Horrific champion but he was skilled. Gave Henry Wharton a boxing lesson.

    His antics were hilarious also.
