1. Realize everyone knows that he hasn't fought an elite level fighter. 2. Understand that people can still appreciate his talent, he is good enough to give anyone fits and would be a big threat every minute of every round. Even if he lost - he would be very dangerous in a rematch. 3.His deffense is elite. He has been in with some decent guys and never looked vulnerable or hurt. 4. His offense speaks for itself. 5. He is a good thing for the sport, casuals want to see his fighting style, it's very viewer friendly. 6. He is a professional, 7. His fans are not all racist, they are not ex-pac fans, they are HIS fans. If you hate him because you think his fans are all one thing - then that's your fault for excluding your demographic from his fan base. 8. He has a boxing heritage that runs deep, his amatuer pedigree is legendary. 9. He is respectful of the sport and the country he now resides in, he doesn't take this opportunity for granted. 10. He loves his fans. 11. He will be an excellent test for anyone. If you can defeat Golovkin, you have something very special to offer. 12. He respects all fighters.
Please stop. GGG has haters because he is overated atm. Once he dares to be great, and succeeds, everyone will be a fan. Until then expect the criticism...it's warranted. It can't be OK to give a certified ATG like Floyd sh!t because of his resume and GGG gets a pass (even after he claimed he'd fight anyone in 3 divisions). Doesn't work like that. Floyd moved up 5 divisions, became champion in each one, and remained undefeated. Can't have it both ways. What's the 12 step program for fan boy delusion? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Read that part. It's like saying realize the sky is blue. No one who is in the know is going to get past his lack of competition. ESPECIALLY, when you have threads ranking him with fighters who were/are actually proven. He's talented, fan friendly, and on course to break Hopkins' title defense record. That's great...and that's all, right now. He has potential to be great. But, there's a lot more he will need to accomplish to get anywhere near the 2 legends who just retired. At least to me. Hey whoa, who is giving Floyd shyte for his resume? I don't like Floyd's style nor his personality, but his results speak for themselves. OK, if he calls himself TBE then I will bust his bals cause he's not, but he probably is the greatest of his era. Sadly.
