The 154 division is absurdly deep

People trying to prop Canelo up by saying he sits atop one of the deepest divisions in boxing are totally nonsensical considering he hasn't fought any of the young skilled guys who gave 154 it's current depth. It's arguable that he hasn't beaten the best five guys in his division. The Charlo's, Andrade, and Williams, as well as Soro, are all better than Canelo's best win.

154 is full of a load of window lickers who won't fight each other and are living on tick tacks to avoid 160, ya its stacked alright, stacked full of helmets

Yeah - it evokes memories of the Heavyweight division in the 70's ...

Definitely one of the 10 most competitive divions right now.

Two years ago yeah. Facts on the ground in the current though are different at 154. Lara wouldn't beat any of those young guys with his pitter pat, one punch at a time style.

The top actually avoid each other. The Charlo brothers get a pass for not fighting each other, but they still haven't gone against other guys at the top. Besides, no one in the division has what I would call an A level skillset, not even Lara.

I was excluding Canelo from this since he just came back to the division.
