How good were Kalambay and Herol Graham? I made a P4P thread along these lines the other night, I'll call it up now to see if anyone is interested in it.

Herol Graham was every bit as talented as the Nunns, Eubanks, Benns and McCallums, but he was one of those guys who had everything go against him. He was just unlucky. For instance, he was dominating Julian Jackson until he got caught by that sublime punch.

Kalambay looked to be very strong and he was disciplined enough to compete in a twelve rounder with Mike McCallum, win one and lose one by SD ( saw that one in Monte Carlo and don't think it was that close), but he was demolished by Nunn in one round so I don't think he should be ranked up there with the others, not even by our italian friends.

What I said in the 160-168 thread, and spot on the money.

I think even a lesser middleweight like Jorge Fernando Castro could beat Pavlik.
