    I stopped to think about it for 0.3 seconds before coming to the conclusion that it's Lewis and Holmes. Holyfield a close 3rd and Wlad 4th.

    As much fun as Tyson was to watch, anyone calling his 2 weeks of prime career greater than Lewis and Holmes needs to go and have a quiet word with themselves, or just take up following a new sport.
    Tysons lack of longevity and opposition is glaring compared to the longevity and dominance seen by Wlad and Holmes and the opposition faced by Lewis is miles ahead. Who also had a lot of longevity. Anyone picking Tyson needs to stop wanking over his knockout reel and get a grip.

    I am really curious as to what the non Klittards feel in regards to Wlad's legacy if he gets knocked out again?

    Say a Arreloa or Price or in the future a Joshua KO him.

    That will be 4 knock outs. How does that affect his rankings?

    Tyson didn't need to be a couple of years younger. He needed an ounce of intelligence and some screws tightened in his noggin. The man was still in his physical prime when he started to slide. It was simply a lack of intelligence and maturity that led to his downfall.
    Tyson was the same age as Lewis and didn't take any prolonged punishment through his prime, his whole problem was a mental thing

    I agree. 100% it was a mental thing.

    But he really did miss the boat.

    He was an Elite fighter from 87-91.

    The Tyson that fought Ruddock would have cleaned out today's HW Division outside of Wladimir.

    So say his elite years was 92-96? It changes everything. The Jail time did too.

    I felt Tyson was making a comeback in the early 90's but jail ****ed him up.


    Eras mean everything. People talk about Lewis. If Lennox was in today's era of media hype and British marketing.. He would have been like 55-0 and be considered greater then Joe Louis. If Tyson was in today's era of marketing and media coverage. .................

    Hard to say for me. I guess Holmes would be one but the second spot is hard for me to choose because they all had good qualities. Tyson was great in his prime but it was short and he never came from behind to win. Holyfield was great but was inconsistent. He had great fights and then had fights where you thought he should maybe retire.
    Lennox Lewis was pretty damn devastating when he was on his game (which he usually was). I guess I'd say Holmes and Lewis closely followed by Holyfield.

    Yeah he was a great fighter. I wonder why he sometimes doesn't get his fair share of praise? Today though,he's kind of bitter about it.
    Even a few years ago he called out Foreman yet again! Good ol' Larry.
