Lewis and Holmes without a doubt didn't think this was even debatable.

 

Holmes & Tyson....

Easy choice IMO.

 

Im going for a combination of longevity and peak performances, so Holmes and Lewis.

On that basis, I always rank Holy over Tyson.

But if I chose on a shorter time frame, say a 1 or 2 year spell, then Tyson rates higher than Holy IMO.

 

Vitali and Wladimir.
I voted for Wladimir and Vitali as well.

How could Tysons KO power when he met Lewis quote " be STRONGER than when he was younger"....the old Tyson couldnt even put Danny Williams or Kevin McBride out! and he threw the kitchen sink at them! Ettiene ,Nielson and Golota had basically quit. BOTTOM LINE Tysons power when he was old was as shot as the rest of him.
Also Lewis didnt "KO" Mason. He beat Mason on his feet and the fight ended when Mason who had been told the fight would be stopped due to a cut ran at Lewis and threw a hellacious flurry and than slumped with that the referee stopped the brave masons challenge. Mason was diagnosed with a detached retina after due to the cut eye so Mason wasnt KO'd. The Ruddock that Lewis fought was a shot entity, he didnt throw one left hook smash, and had managerial problems equalling a lack of motivation. Lewis might have made Mccall cry but he couldnt floor him or come close to it!:hi: PS: if Lewis hadnt fallen into the refs lap doing Mccall 1 he might have been murdered in the ring that night.
I rate Lewis as a very fine champion and credit to the sport but he lost to mccall and rahman and was being outboxed by Bruno. He also had major problems with a shot old Holyfield and in my opinion lost one of those fights and won the other. I rate Holyfield and Holmes over him, as well as a young Tyson and prime proffesional Bowe.

You forgot about that?

How many 14 fight novices do you see fighting 35-0 fighters who had 99% KO ratio.

Now you say 'wtf is ESB and 'the scene' they are not important. Well actually they are. Because there are casual boxing fans and there are fans who care enough about the sport to actually post on sites like scene and ESB.

Polls like this is actually more important and telling than you might initally think.

You see Lewis leading the polls? Even if 5% of the kids who vote for Lennox end up becoming boxing commentators, that's another + for Lennox.
