Theres only 2 modern Legends at this time, and thats B-Hop and now u can add Manny Paciaou as well. IMHO if Manny is able to beat convincingly or even stop Mayweather He goes down as a top 10-15 greatest fighter of ALL TIME. Mayweather could do the same but i think Mayweater would have to beat Pacman and fight a real challenge which in my opinion would be Paul Willams. I know P-dub doesn't have a big name outside of the hard core boxing fans, BUT he does present a challenge in my opinion. Roy jones and Shane Mosley are definitely ATG's but idk if they're legends, Shane's not a legend, Roy Maybe. B-hop is already considered by many to be in the top 5 Greatest Middle weights of all time, right behind Greb,Ray Robinson,Hagler, and Monzon.
no. there are pac , holyfield and toney. roy jones deserves more than hopkins. and all are roided keep in mind. david tua is also above hopkins. and so is mccall. who did hopkins ever stop ? welterweights going up ? a journeyman without names on his resume ? who ? he could not stop a drained weakened tarver and could not outpoint the former 154 champion without using his head right at the start.
B Hop and Jones are Legends ..nuff said ...even if they both lose tomorrow to the no-bodies they signed to fight the will always be LEGENDS ...thats like sayin ALI isnt because he lost to Berbick and Holmes .....or Tyson cos he lost to Danny Williams and others ...Legend status is achieved ...its not a title that comes an goes
