Something tells me calzaghe will come out of retirement to fight the winner of the tourney. Especially if its a guy like froch.

Ok - I will post something on Ellis to wind up the Yanks as follows:

Matthew Ellis - British heavy weight Contender on a mission in the USA
Ellis was tipped as the first Billionaire sportsman when he turned pro.

He has had a bad run recently, but under a new training regime he will re-emerge as a contender and get a title shot in 2010

I agree, he blocks most punches with his chin, luckily its pretty solid. Try telling his supporters though.

I did not think he would beat Taylor, but he did.

I'm not so sure. He's a bit of an unknown quantity. Has his power improved? Can he take a light heavyweight dig?
I would compare him to a Nicky Piper rather than Calzaghe.

He's a mirror of Piper, both intelligent guys. He (Piper) was unlucky to have Benn, Barber and Mich'chewski as opponents. Cleverley won't need to be as good to win a title.

Campillo and Erdei and perhaps Woods (if he wins) should be his targets.
These fighters are not supermen, and an on top form Cleverley with home advantage would stand a decent chance against all of them.

    :good
