It's not just speed, it's more of the fact that Mayweather and Pacquiao are amazing fighters who were simply on a higher level than Hatton. Also, Pacquiao is a lefty, and that made it even worse for Hatton. I though Collazo's left handed stance made things pretty hard for Hatton, with that right hook that Hatton doesn't see coming. We saw this from Magee, and Pacquiao as well.

Khan is fast, but not especially accurate, and loses power when he throws flurries. Hatton had quick feet and was able to cut the ring off on Mayweather (although sometimes Floyd went to the ropes by design), and I think it's safe to say that Mayweather is far more accurate, has better footwork, and at 147, hits harder straight up than Khan. Simply put, he's much better at keeping distance than Khan. Yet Floyd still had to show his in-fighting against Hatton, using his free hand, working in and out of the clinch, angling his body up close to make himself a smaller target, etc.. Khan may throw more of those quick flurries, but they aren't that accurate, and not that powerful because Khan often throws sloppy arm shots when he does this. I don't think Hatton is going to be able to keep it at long range, because of his flawed footwork, Hatton's fast feet, and Khan not being to always catch Hatton with clean, crisp shots. He's not Floyd (who spent quite a bit of the fight at close range), Manny, or even an aging Tszyu, who even at that stage in his career, was accurate and a sharp, hard puncher. Once he's no longer at long range, he loses his effectiveness, and he's going to get destroyed up close.

It's a mythical matchup so who knows, but I just don't see Khan winning this, and also don't see why a lot of people seem to think Khan is this special fighter and a great in the making. As of right now, he's just a fast guy with a ton of flaws.
