I dont think that was the case, I think he was trying to get up, he was doing everything he can he just could not get the rest of his body other than his arms and legs to move right away, at first when I saw teh fight I agreed with your statement but having seen it a couple times to me it looked as if he immediatley was trying to get back up.

 

The ref wasn't looking at Montiel when that occurred. He was in the process of directing Donaire to the neutral corner, and the twitching/convulsion had stopped when he turned his attention back to Fernando.

 

Anyone got a GIF of the Rios KO last night?

 

Fernando's eyes were rolled back while he was flailing around. The movement was almost certainly involuntary.
