I hope it’s 175 or 154lb , 160lbs already kinda has a tournament going on but I suspect it will be the 168lb division again.

 

WBSS is the best thing to happen to boxing in my lifetime.

 

I'm glad this is gaining momentum and hopefully the WBSS tournament becomes and annual or semi annual mandatory requirement in boxing. Praises due to Son of God Andre Ward for being the first to dominate the planet in this tournament. Hopefully many more elite fighters get recognized.

 

Yes, unfortunately I'm hearing 168 lb as well. It was going to be a cruiserweight repeat but since Usyk-Bellew is going to be at cruiser for the titles, my understanding is that they're going with 168 instead.

 

168 is one of the worst divisions and it’s full of guys who aren’t willing to mix it up together.

If it does go ahead, they need to get Benavidez, Ramirez, Uzcategui, Degale, Eubank, then maybe Caleb plant and Jessie Hart.

I don't like going from two divisions one year then three the next, and it will be really stupid if they do 168 again as is the rumour.

Two divisions every year will mean each division every eight years (ignoring strawweight). That would give it some regularity, which it should have if it's going to be the Champions League of boxing.

 

The 168 tournament this year was lame so 168 with the top fighters would be nice. 175 after Stevenson leaves would be perfect.

 

168 is trash though.

 

I agree - but the Sauerlands are the one making the decisions, not me unfortunately.

154lbs wouldnt mind seeing, its a quiet division.

 

MW is already ruled out by Kalle.
We will get one class above MW for sure.
SMW would be boring as ****.
So it might be LHW or CW.
I fully expect LHW as the third weight class.
