    55-45 winner takes bigger share doesnt work for a fight of that magnitude.....too much at stake....that was part of konczs offer....he knew damn well floyd wasnt taking that.....just grandstanding

    answer to me why you make a counteroffer when floyds offer wasnt even fully discussed to begin with? more than likely it was bs....and i dont think floyd ever confirmed he was offered this anyway.....we know koncz and floyd confirmed floyds offer........why didnt koncz call up floyd and offer that to begin with....floyd was the one who initiated convo...if he didnt we know koncz would have never picked up a phone......**** if manny knew it was floyd calling he prob would have let **** go straight to voicemail....lol....yer out of yer depth

    No I read your response I just want you to defend this stupidity like you try to fault. Manny for not taking that low ball offer !

    Arum is the one who makes the final offer not Koncz he's just a messenger!

    then why didnt manny hand the phone off to arum? why didnt he say "you know what call bob arum....cant talk about it...you have to ask him"....why did he hand the phone off to koncz? if koncz is just a messenger why is he talking to floyd? why is he making counteroffers to floyd on mannys behalf?.....you think floyd called manny....manny passed it off to koncz and koncz listened to floyd and said "hold on a sec floyd im gonna grab another phone and call bob real quick and ask him if this is ok"???

    floyd would look pretty dumb if he was the one calling up and intiating talks and making an offer....only to come up with something else after the fact if manny accepted.....he could never live that one down......then again...we dont have to worry about it cause manny didnt even wanna talk

    manny already had 50/50 and a 14 day cutoff(thats it simple as that...everything was agreed to all manny had to do was say yes and sign...no more demands or blocks)...and bolted like usain....straight to dallas

    Floyd was already making 50 million so thats not an increase in his purses. Bottom line is that Arum should have picked up the phone when Shaefer and the mediator called several times to negotiate.

    some of these fuks still dont think bob takes a cut of mannys purse lol.....not to mention manny was taking advances from bob a few years ago ....hes probably actually taking home **** after he pays bob back ....guy was borrowing money from VQ to buy a house for koncz in california lol

    i feel bad for manny...ive always liked him as a fighter...these guys are raping him

    "Why is Shaefer calling me"

    "He keeps calling me and GBP has nothing to do with this"

    "The Judge/mediator never called me"

    "Shaefer is still calling me"

    "We can't fight in may but Floyd can fight us in June"

    "Floyd's going to jail so we will take the May date and fight JMM"

    "Floyd's date has been pushed back to June for Jail and May is too soon and we want to build a stadium so we can fight him in june even though he will be in jail'

    Week later Floyd personally calls Manny bc Manny's promoter refused to do business and talk with Floyd's negotiating reps. Offers 40 million and *******S say its Floyds fault

    The PPV's would have dwarfed that number who are we kidding here .

    It's more posturing from both sides than anything ..It's both their fault but Floyd is to powerful not to make this fight happen ..If Manny is desperate ,if it's a no brainer why not ? He could have made this fight several times over by now .

    Floyd's not powerful enough to make a guy fight that doesn't even know how to negotiate a fight, and with a promoter whom Floyd and his team can't work with, and who Manny can't make a move without.

    He called Manny directly and made a good offer. 40 million is a great starting point. And that alone, even w/o PPV, "dwarfed" Manny's largest purse (considering Bop was not getting a cut of that, as per the OP).

    How they split the back end PPV revenue could've been figured out based on whose fights had done the best numbers on average (Floyd's). That's not something Floyd would/should have done right at that moment, over the phone. They have professionals who can tally the numbers and come up with an accurate figure. But, Koncz and Manny obviously aren't business savvy enough to make decisions w/o Bop's blessing.

    No, Im saying Pac or any other boxer that has a promotional company pays a percentage to the Main promoter, if their promotional company is a secondary promoter on the card or in the business aspect of the show.

    Some boxers pay a percentage to the main promoter, but they get a certain cut / percentage of sales (ticket, merchandise, food or beverage, etc).
