    I think you're confusing fact with guess. Athletic primes-especially for fighters- are not definite concrete things which you can pinpoint with a date no less. Those are not facts. Those are your opinions.

    Perhaps to a degree. But does anyone want to refute that physically Ali peaked in 66-60, that athletically speaking he was on the decline throughout the 70's. Commentators at the time noted he had lost a little speed.

    Frazier certainly had no better career performance than in 1971, and really had few highlights afterward other than competing against the similarly declining Ali.
