    On 6 December 2024 in Liverpool Cuban prospect Dayan Gonzalez ranked 14th IBO 16th world 25 years old 15-0-0 (13KOs) will box Thai prospect 66th world ranked 26th IBO Wira Mikham 27 years old 16-0-0 (11KOs) the fight will be for the vacant IBO World Featherweight belt.


    Wira Mikham beat Japanese veteran Daisuke Sugita by KO in Thailand to win the WBC International Silver, he also beat Wicha Phulaikhao "Pigmy Kokietgym" before the limit to win the WBA Asian Feather title, he also has a points win over veteran Phai Pharob.

    The Cuban Dayan Gonzalez beat the Filipino Joseph Ambo before the deadline & he beat the unbeaten Tanzanian Charles Chilala on points.


    For both of them, this will be a major step up in adversity and stakes in their respective careers.
