Hey now. let's not get carried away. Rahman's last opponent only had a few beers before the fight. No hard liquor at all on the day of the fight.

Amazing poster's actually read through that. All the earmarks of another weirdo, shouting from a bully pulpit.

I guess you are right, Welliver is wide enough to take up two seats.

Talk about dedication to training, I don't know how to post pics, but Welliver is about 2/3 the size he was just 2 years ago. I'm talking like 50-60 lbs less.:admin

And it shows. He always had fast hands, and was slick for a fat ass, but now, he's developed a decent jab, hook off the jab, like Wlad. Not saying theyr'e in the same league, but Welli is no less a joke than anyone not named Klitschko.

Chonsi Velliver sparring Alexander Povetkin....fat my arse.

Welliver is about 235 pounds these days. Rob Calloway on October 3rd in China. Last time was Lawernce Tauassa in China.

Now, they are not the greatest but Tauassa damn near beat Sosnowski for the WBF HW Title but lost a split decision...Welliver balsted him out in 4. Calloway was the victory that got Vitali to petition the WBC for Briggs title fight. He took Terrible Terry Smith out and his FNF with McCline was a barn burner.

Heck, even Chauncy's opponent before that, Galen Brown...Chauncy knocked a training Brown out in 5 rounds. It took Rahamn 6 to get him out in Browns next fight after sitting on the couch for a month and gaining 15 pounds.

Chauncy has offered David Tua to come to China...he even accepted a very low ball offer form Tua's cousin for the King fight...then never got called back. He accepted a fight with Meehan last year in Fiji only to be stood up. He accepted a fight with Barrett on the Holyfield card only to have him deny him for Charles Davis. He called Arreola out on On The Ropes.

Win #50 is up next. 28 years old and half way to being a Centurian!

simple, offer more money, if he is capable of beating them, then he'll make back the money down the track.

I feel like after a few more fights, helenius will be able to give both vitali and wlad hell. why? because he's a warrior, he has decent skills and punching power, and he's a modern day super heavyweight, like the klitschko brothers. size advantage is a non factor with him vs. any klitschko. it would be like lewis-mavrovic with both of them, and the outcome wouldn't be set in stone.

I also feel like Helenius will give a member of K2 a good fight eventually. He knows he is not ready though. He still has to get into better condition to face 1 of the brothers.

As for Welliver and offering more money to the big names, that is what China is all about. If he can defeat Rob Calloway all dressed up in his Red White and Blue gear on October 3rd, I expect it to be a very popular watch on Free to Air Chinese TV. 30 million watched Welliver beat Lawrence Tauasa after the replays, like 17 million live. And since then he has been back to the country to promote himself as The Boxing Panda.

The entire goal of this operation is to lure a member of K2 into China for the 1st HW Title Fight. Chauncy is developing a piece of the pie that no other HW on earth can bring to the table. When it is all said and done, much history will be made. 1st Chinese Title Fight, Joe Hipp becoming the 1st Native American to fight for and train a fighter to fight for the HW Title, and Chauncy Welliver as the 1st Native American HW Champion!
