I think they were each decent, and talented contenders of that era. The only tragedy was in them being labelled a “champion”, in most cases for winning their first competitive bout when they were not really ready, instead of remaining contenders as I believe history should remember them as. Berbick, Witherspoon and weaver were the best ones.
