He probably deserved to win that 2nd fight purely on having the stones to survive that 2nd round. A lot of trainers would have pulled him after that..... it was as bad as the three minute hiding Paul Lloyd took from Barrera.
Great Post. The Bruno win choked me up. That was when Britain united. Not always does a nation pull behind one man but Frank was such a nice guy that everyone wanted him to do it so badly. Warren did a great job. Fitting night and a night i never forget. Stuff of dreams...that night.
watched Ibeabuchi v tua the other night, have to say they make todays heavys look tepid, and both them coulden't win a world title.:-good
Sad but true mate :good. Ike was a beast. When you look at the depth back then it's amazing. Now we only really care for a few domestic heavy clashes and Klit's vs Haye. The depth just isn't there nor are the characters.
Smokin' Bert doing what he does best, giving superior fighters a terribly tough night! ATG HW journeyman. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrs65JZzMIk[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsTCZOS_mvo&feature=related[/ame]
Magaluf...:deal I went to Magaluf for the 2nd half of Euro 96, it was awesome **** up that just went on and on and on...:nut
:good Cooper-Holyfield was awesome as well! 90's gave us some great HW scraps. Corrie Sanders-Hasim Rahman is another one to check out.
I bet if the General was around in those days Ruiz would have been labelled a glass-jawed joke/fraud etc. ****s.
The Bowe Hide fight was alot better fight than I remembered cheers for posting that . Its the first time i`ve seen it since the night it took place.
