    Liar. Froch never said Golovkin wanted him at 164. I'd ask you to prove it but its pointless as you can't because it never happened. Loser.

    What are the chances of a fight with Gennady Golovkin happening?
    @GlennSpeers, Twitter

    Fifty-fifty. It would be more but I’ve heard recently that he’s considering dropping down, and he also mentioned me potentially moving down to 164lbs, which just isn’t an option.

    That's a Froch interview with Boxing news.

    Thank you :dancer2:

    And imagine, just one fight separated them.

    If Martinez had taken a longer break and fully recovered from his injuries, we could have seen him share a ring with Golovkin in late 2013 or early 2014.
    Martinez would have still been ancient as ****, but that man was a beast.

    Well I don't think he'd mind, Oscar gives him a golden shower on nearly a daily basis

    Such an odd one this... One thing I don't think Oscar has factored in here is Jamie Moore, who is becoming a great trainer & tactician. Also extra poundage will slow Cameltoe a tad too. It's not a gimme. It may play out like say the Chavez Jr fight but I suspect this isn't going to script.. You've got the little counter punching buzz saw who's a great fighter versus the bigger natural SMW who's decent but not spectacular & who has less facets to his game but if he plays to his strengths & is able to keep el beefo at long to mid range & sticks to a plan he might make it interesting.. Saying that tho, he'll have to KO him cos he's not taking the cards!!!

    It's actually intriguing.

    You seem impressed.

    You shouldn't be. It was actually very easy.

    I guess even simple things are breathtaking to those that can't manage them.

    Joke of a fight. Canelo is a cheater got caught twice, cherry picks opponents and gets favorable decisions in fights almost everyone felt he lost. Hard to be a fan of his even after his courageously losing effort against Triple G.

    This is just like all this "Why did L.L duck a rematch with Klistchko" nonsense that someone brings up here once a week.

    A DUCK is when a fighter avoids a fight to fight someone else.

    RETIREMENT is when a fighter avoids a fight because he never fights again. Retirement is an excellent decision for a boxer in his mid thirties, that's what Froch and Lewis did. They had enough. Man this BS is so tired.
