In recent memory Woods springs to mind.

True, he was a big disappointment in that fight (I take it you mean Tarver?) didn't appear to have any fire in his belly.

Yeah the Tarver fight, he just didnt turn up. For the record I think Tarver would have had too much for him anyway, but he offered nothing.

Bugner v Ali - 15 rounds for a world title and he put so little effort in he went swimming straight after.

    Nelson v de Leon.

Clinton Woods' pathetic 'effort' v Antonio Tarver. What made this my choice is that Woods was good enough and Tarver poor enough for Woods to have won this had he applied himself

clinton woods v tarver--completely dispirited and uninterested,it's a shame because when he turns it on he's all right!

ricky hatton v pacman--didn't seem to want to fight well, although the pacman was awsome!

i picked them because they were both well-seasoned at the time of their fights, which is why the witter/judah fight doesn't come into it for me.

Agreed, Tarver has never really impressed me for the last few years but Woods just wasn't at the races for that one.

I've memtioned this before but apparently Woods had a strain of meningitis when he fought Tarver so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for that performance. Mine I think would deffo be Akinwande v Lewis

A bit unfair I think, Bruno did hurt Tyson before being overwhelmed and Tyson in those days was a real animal. Now if you'd said Bruno v Tyson 2, you ight have had a point...
