I think what you meant to say was "Damn Floyd was able to beat Pac in jabs and in defense while Pac landed way more shots, especially power shots (with higher precision) probably because Floyd's style is defense oriented and Pac's is offense oriented" If anything, the punch stats are a reflection of both their styles and simply confirm what most fans already know.
