Wow...**** just got real, I hadn't thought about how Briggs could figure into this equation. What happens when Briggs kicks all their asses...where do we go from there?

Shannon Briggs fought George Foreman, who fought Muhammad Ali who fought Sonny Liston. That's 33 years between 3 fights. Shannon is still trying to fight. If he would in fact fight lets say this year, it would be a time span of 54 years between 4 fights. Think about that for a sec.

I like Briggs, he's willing to turn up to anyone's backyard......Joshua, Fury or Klitschko.

At least Wilder's finally had the balls to travel to 1 of those 3.....

Maybe Briggs is his hired bodyguard?

    My prediction..

Fury will look ropey against Pianeta and say he needs a little more time and Briggs will confront Fury screaming and shouting and they will have a little staged tussle.

Then Wilder will fight Breazeale and Fury will fight on the same bill against Briggs and then if they do a deal.. Wilder and Fury will fight early next year.

If Shannon Briggs worked in the porn industry, he'd be a fluffer....

I could actually see this happening. The big problem is it would preclude the winner from facing AJ at Wembley in April next year though. Guess that would be Hearns problem.

Yeah true, but that gives Hearn more time, the time he seems to want, Hearn can get AJ on DAZN again and AJ (assuming he beats Povetkin) can fight Whyte at Wembley in April.

Hearn fills another date, gets another monster PPV event and DAZN get another AJ fight.

On the other side, Wilder and Fury fight on the same bill, confront each other at post fight pressers, build the fight a little more and Fury and Wilder can fight around the same time (March/April) and then the winners meet.

All this could be planned, they all could be taking us for complete muppets, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

Makes sense. I could see it happen. And since Wilder and Fury are otherwise occupied, it might lessen the chances of restlessness from the fans that could otherwise threaten decreased interest for a Wembley event.
