My point was not that Hayes power can't hurt Adamek. It surely can, he punches hard. My point was that you can be as theoretical as you like, but if it doesnt happen, it doesnt matter. What if scenarios are **** in boxing.
how? so people that dont share your same viewpoint are biased?? people that dont view adamek as nothing less than god are considered biased british haye nuthuggers? sheesh, wanna contradict yourself even further?
Wide punches? To beat haye you have to be aggressive! adamek clearly cant do that! hes a boxer! haye would love to fight in that pace that adamek is going! And who is the better counter puncher? Haye cause he can attack with hard shots even backing up! Look at adamek at cruiserweight and heavyweight! You can clearly see he isnt confident in his power! And thats the truth! end of story! im back to work see ya
I'd clearly favour both brothers over Adamek...and from last nights performance, I'd favour Haye over Adamek aswell. Hayes explosiveness and speed gives him some good Heavyweight power...I would expect this to trouble Adamek who wasn't hard to hit last night. It's not out of the question that Adamek could hurt Haye though...interesting bout.
You have certaintly hinted at it. Clear insinuation Adamek lacks the power to give Haye trouble, in reply to my hypothetical comment about Adamek landing on Haye. Suggesting it is so inconcievable, that you have to be a Polish, or American fan to come up with it.
Not at all, I just don't think Adamek would land often enough to make Haye's vulnerability a factor. That was in response to this... Grant was assaulted by that combination on multiple occasions, and despite having a notoriously fragile jaw, didn't even change facial expression. This was just an observation I have made. Have you seen any exceptions yet? Most of the people favoring Adamek by knockout are predominantly Polish or American.
well, imo i felt that Adamek was over-reaching himself physically, stepping into Heavyweight. He'll always be an undersized heavyweight and all the advantages and disadvantages that receives. He does have the natural talent, skills, and abilities to be competitive on an A-class level, but his natural power doesnt translate into the Heavyweight class. IMO, it was the same with Holyfield. I think he had a greater KO record as Lt. Hvyt compared to his Heavyweight career. Power is the equalizer and the Xfactor in a fight. If an opponent fears your power, his behavior changes. If your opponent doesnt fear your power, they're more confident in imposing their own offense on you.
