It has to do with the opponents. Pacquiao still has all the ability in the world, opponents are just bigger, tougher, and end up trying to survive against Pacquiao. Bradley even recently said Pac's power is still there compared to 2012, and Ariza was with him then.

I think it has a lot to do with motivation as well. I think he was content with letting them survive when he saw them go into survival mode.

But now, he doesn't like Mayweather. He wants to knock him out. I don't think he's wanted to really KO an opponent since Marquez. (Who he almost did).

Margarito has been stopped. Savage punchers can KO anyone they fight. Again, I ask why have the KO's mysteriously stopped? Pacquaio was weight draining them at 'catchweights' also. Something is wrong when the KO's stop all of a sudden

No. Because that's his fault. He's got the same opportunity to be 100% as Pacquiao, if he fails to be 100%, that's his fault and not an excuse. :deal

Exactly. I've learned this the hard way, as just saying that even in the most gentle way is a death sentence. Lol, please chill out, I feel you may be over reacting has sent me to the gallows even worse.

    Kinda like when I get the 'whatever' that sets me off, cause I know that's f u c k y o u, I don't care, to a lesser extent.

That aside Im not sure I agree, I think ariza is helping him quite a bit. I have no evidence that's my guess. I'm also starting to wonder how much is mindgames on both sides. I'm hoping im wrong, but I feel Floyd is really benefitting from arizas presence.

We are gonna find out soon.

I don't know how much stock I'd put in Floyd's opinion on much of anything. But if you remember with the Ariza and Pac thing, Pacquiao's less than spectacular performances coincided with Ariza complaining about Pac not being committed to his training regime any longer.

It's so hard to tell at this point between all the stuff these two camps have been saying and the stakes on the line. What's a mind game and what's genuine? I don't know.

I will say this though. If he thinks that Pacman isn't going to be fast as hell in there, and have power to hurt him, just because Ariza left him....Floyd may be dumber than we all give him credit for. :deal

In my opinion, Pacquiao hasn't declined very much physically from when he fought the likes of Margarito/Clottey/Cotto. I really believe he is very close to as fast as he was, just as strong and maybe even more skilled. What hasn't been there for him, has been the aggressiveness and killer instinct. And if this fight is was brings it back out of him, Ariza isn't going to be able to help Floyd.

I rewatched the Cotto fight yesterday. Pacquiao was like a f*cking machine in there :deal He was literally walking Cotto down constantly and had a look to him like he wanted to kill him. THAT is what we haven't seen from him in a while. The physical attributes are still there though.

Good Point, he didn't stop Margarito. He only permanently damaged the the guy's eye to the point he'll never be the same fighter again :patsch

Pac DID KO Algieri, the ref just gave Chris a count of 13. Watch the replay.

Pac was on his way to stopping JMM, when he went full re**** and sprinted into a right cross with his eyes closed :bart

And Rios, he was understandably cautious, but still put on a masterclass.

Then we have Bradley. Who Andre Ward cites as the toughest man he's ever boxed. No shame in not stopping him.

The KO made anything Pacquiao was going to do or did irrelevant. JMM Shattered his Chin then in his next fight they put him in with a flat footed plodder with no headmovement. Then, after that they put him in there with two feather fisted opponents. You don't see any issues on why they would be doing that? This doesn't include the 5 or so disgraceful 'catchweight' fights he had before this.

If marquez was putting a beating on pac before the ko I would of been worried but it was a fluke one

anyway *****s like you claim Pac chin is finished so I guess mayweather would knock him out easily right?:hey

Agree. Lets not forget he only moved up to WW for ODLH and when he had to fight at 140 for Hatton, easily weighed in at 138.

I think he would be drained at 130 but it wont be the first time someone drained 17 lbs to make weight.

Fact is, despite fighting at WW, you would think he'd be bigger than the 140lbs fighters he fought, Hatton Rios, Bradley, Algeiri..but he's not, he was smaller than all of them.

I do think Pac was robbed of two KO's in the fight. The first was the straight left hand where the Algieri wasn't even on both of his feet by the time the ref finished the 10 count, and the second was when the ref pushed Manny off Algieri when Manny was finishing him...for no reason.

I've seen some of Manny's fights called off from beatings that were quicker than what Algieri was taking for a good minute. It should've been stopped in the ninth, no doubt in my mind.
