. It is 2 years old though. A more recent article from the WADA (the same entity that Floyd wants to do the drug testing for his possible fight with Pac) website said that EPO can be detected by urine testing. As we all know, Pac agreed to unlimited, random urine testing all the way to the day of the fight and even right after the fight.

When was a test to detect EPO implemented? A test for EPO was introduced at the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Sydney (Australia). The test, validated by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), was based on the blood and urine matrix. A blood screening was performed first, and a urine test was then used to confirm possible use of EPO.
In June 2003, WADA’s Executive Committee accepted the results of an independent report stating that urine tests alone can be used to detect the presence of recombinant EPO. This report, requested by WADA’s stakeholders and commissioned by the Agency to evaluate the validity of urinary and blood tests for detecting the presence of recombinant EPO, concluded that urinary testing is the only scientifically validated method for direct detection of recombinant EPO. This report also recommended that urine testing be used in conjunction with blood screening for a variety of reasons, including the cost savings of performing blood screening prior to testing urine. Some international sports federations still use both urine and blood matrix for the detection of EPO. Recently, the urine test was adapted to blood to perform detection of some new erythropoiesis stimulating agents.

The article mentioned that blood and urine testing be used in conjunction for a variety of reasons but they only mentioned the issue of cost saving so we can assume that that is the main reason why they prefer blood and urine testing for EPO detection. The Pac and Floyd fight could potentially be the richest fight in boxing so I don't think saving a few thousand dollars is their primary concern.

Bottom line, urine testing, according to WADA is enough to detect EPO and even the newer variants of the said type of PED.

people can be so ****in ignorant. i weighed the same for about 10 years and recently decided that since i couldn't put on any fat no matter what i did that i would just start eating 6-8000 calories a day and lifting weights again with lighter cardio rather than just boxing and cycling just to see what happened. i put on 25 lbs. of solid muscle in less than 2 months. it wasn't even that difficult and i don't have a strength and conditioning coach or nutritionist by my side every hour of the day.

if i wasn't getting so bored with lifting weights and didn't miss boxing so much i probably could have put on 40 lbs...

now that i'm boxing again i'm just as fast as i was 25 lbs. ago, my stamina might even be better, and i hit much harder.

pac's not on roids/peds, or anything of the sort.

He made a point about that yea, but the main reason I personally think Pac is on something is because he's scared of getting tested and has been unwilling in the past to take tests at times he's doesn't want to. AN innocent man wouldn't care and would take them any time any day to prove his innocence.

sure buddy, 25lbs of SOLID muscle in 2 month naturally without gaining fat? Even in the realm of bodybuilders and extremely good genetics this is almost unheard of. Most people struggle to put 10 lbs of muscle on naturally in 1 year and it's commonly know if one does but on 10-12lbs of muscle per year he's doing great. You must be a demi-god.

A very proud man also wouldn't take the test if he feels his reputation was besmirched. If the test was required by boxing authorities, for sure he will do it. He agreed to take the test with conditions as he doesn't want the Mayweathers to have the last say in anything.

Are you a new boxing fan? How can you not know that Pac agreed to be tested? He even agreed to unlimited urine testing and a blood test right after the fight. Is that someone who is unwilling to take the test?

I heard from a solid source this Manny Pacquiao is a cyborg who is half man half machine. He is part of a military experiment called "Knockamotherfu$%er out". This same source has been seen inside the Pacquiao camp. He wants to go unnamed, but he said that Pacquiao is looking to fight Vitali Klitschsko to see just how far this experiment will go.

Spud, professional boxers do not eat junk food before their fights. That is not healthy. You also should not eat junk food, that is not good for your body. You have to eat vegetables a lot. Do not also forget to drink milk, that is good for your bone development.
