When floyd sits down on a punch it hurts.. that's the thing about Mayweather, he is all about accuracy and making you miss.. you're getting hit but you feel like you can take risks by coming forward and then bang.. you're either on the canvas or backing up to the ropes. He also uses your momentum as extra power in the shots.. KD's of Corrales, Hatton and Marquez are testament to this.

Floyd does have issues with his hands so he's not gonna try and take your head off every punch.. but he does hit hard enough to keep fighters honest.. you cant rush him like hatton tried because you get stung coming in and then up close he has one of the best inside defenses ive ever seen.. Roach knows that pot shotting, right hooks and fast footwork are the keys to beating floyd.

IMO there's far more chance of manny being on the canvas than floyd.

Clottey maybe, Margarito don't think so. You don't get your ass beaten like that and not hoping for the win

Why Floyd don't use the newer designer strains of EPO Steroids ?? If it can't be traced then what's the risk ??? Ahhh, I get it, the dude has moral contraint :patsch that's so sweet from him:roll:

Yeah, just continue to delude yourself(all of you) that there are clean fighters out there. :huh

Back on topic, Floyd can hurt Pac but most likely he will not inflict any kind of damage on the philipino.
I don't see Pac fight in a different way as he did against Marquez; he will surely drop his work rate avoidind Floyds counters. In this kind of game, Mayweather can win the battle on points without thinking to much about hurting Manny Pacquiao

Pac is different kind of a fighter which Floyd has not fought. He's relentless. He keeps on coming in and out. He can slip a punch in any position
to Floyd's face and body. He's like the Energizer who keeps on coming. If Cotto, Margarito, and Clottey, bigger boxers all, can't stop him on his tracks, how much more with Floyd who keeps on running to avoid Pac's punches. Also, remember that Pac's punches are solid and accurate. How many bigger fighters did he mow down in the last 4 years? Floyd KOd 1 out of 6 while Pac KO/TKOd 6 out of 12. Pac made a short work of Hatton (2 rounds) in a weight where the latter was unbeaten, while Floyd knocked out Hatton in 10 rounds in the welterweight division.

Pac will easily beat Floyd who has been inactive for almost 3 years, compared to Pac.

Same goes for Pacquiao, he hasnt fought anyone whos slick and has elite boxing skills as floyd. I dont get how people are saying Pacquiao can just go in and out, he had trouble vs the flat footed Marquez, Pac's punches are accurate and coming from all angles because the opponents dont freaking move to get out the way. What if Pacquiao comes in and Mayweather is no longer in hes reach? He will get countered, the fight will be won by movement/footwork and distance. :good

Watch the fight vs Jorge Solis I think that will show glimpses of how the fight will look. But I gotta go, my brothers girlfriend is having a baby. :scaredas:

Mayweather doesn't need to hurt Pacquiao to beat him.

Humberto and Pac are both promoted by Arum. Pac wanted to fight Soto after he KOd his little brother Bobby and Arum considered it at first but dropped the idea for business reason. Pac doesn't duck anyone, least of all Soto, a talented boxer-puncher who has a bad habit of losing big fights.
