a few more rats jumping off the sinking ship. when floyd gets slapped around by the legal system, i am going to think of all the dummies on here desperately trying to convince themselves that jr is gonna come out clean and im going to laugh myself stupid.

As far as I can tell on first inspection the goal of this action is three-fold:

* ODLH and Schaefer want out of a defamation lawsuit that the judge is allowing to move forward.

* OLDH and Schaefer may think that this is a good time to make amends with Arum so they can make fights together in the future (Golden Boy and HBO, together with Top Rank)

* Arum and Pacquiao likely wanted to do this -- and agreed to do this -- because they want to isolate Mayweather & his direct associates as the only source that is pursuing this unsupported accusation

The reason the Floyd Fans are mad about this is that now the only person on the hook for the potential defamation is Mayweather. The other people who seemed to be "on board" with the baseless smears are either backing off and apologizing (ODLH, Schaefer) or being utterly discredited (Sparring Partner BS).

There is no other group of people, at least none who anyone cares about or have any credibility, who are now playing the "Pacquiao PED" game.

That is a win for Pacquiao, and a loss for Mayweather in his apparent and continuing (new T-Shirt) attempt to impugn Pacquiao's reputation.
