I agree Michigan... This guy is a lost hope. I'd be scared to see how he judges a fight, considering he obviously misses a lot of the action. Maybe he should try tennis?

I must say I was really impressed with Manny Pacquiao's body punching against Shane Mosley in their fight. He threw a punch of straight lefts to the body at the beginning of the fight that really got Shane Mosleys attention.

HAhaha... But you gotta admit when he does decide to let his hands go, he can get pretty nasty with it..

Yaeh and thats exactly what I said , he's got a good body attack when he actually does it , but he rarely does it . These tards are saying he's a consistent body puncher, yet they gotta use a magnifying glass to find or two body punches. DURAN was a consistent body puncher. Floyd???

Would've been interesting to see if Mayweather would've performed the same if Cortez permitted those clinches to last a little longer, especially during the early rounds when Hatton was still landing on May.
But if I recall correctly, when Cortez did allow the clinches on the later rounds, what Mayweather then did is to turn his back from Hatton (Hatton got deducted a point eventually from hitting the back of May's head, not to mention REALLY frustrated that after the break he turned his back on May and bent over :rofl) or make sure that their hands will end tied up after Hatton's first punch off the lunge.
So essentially, Cortez was again forced to break them up quickly again.
    Brilliant if you ask me.

Go ahead and attack me as a boxing fan u dick , it's obvious ur the one who doesnt know what ur talking about when you call Floyd a 'consistent' body puncher, maybe you should figure out what that word means. Ask anyone who watches boxing and ask them what best part of Floyd's game is, and 9/10 aren't going to say anything about his body punching. That doesn't mean he's not a good body puncher, but he sure as hell isnt consistent like your saying. But keep getting butthurt by a simple fact , I know you Floyd fans like to throw a ****ing hissy fit anytime someone mentions something negative about you hero.

We've given you a ton of evidence from MULTIPLE FIGHTS over MULTIPLE YEARS and you are STILL being an idiot. Even a thorough and intelligent analysis of the Mosley fight was dismissed by you. Because after all, you are so much more knowledgeable than everybody else right?

Just admit it, you don't like Floyd Mayweather Jr. Period. Either that, or like mentioned by others in this thread... Maybe boxing isn't your thing?

    Such *******ation in this thread.

Floyd is more accurate, precise and calculated with his punches, including his bodywork. Pacquiao has more volume but Floyd has no need for volume when he doesn't waste his energy and makes everything count. The thread is asking who's a better body puncher, not who throws more.

Keep grasping for straws, *******s. Maybe you should actually try watching a fight rather than just listening to the commentators to point everything out to you, who miss more than half the action.

It's a tough question..... I think Floyd uses the body attack more strategically to set up offense but I think PAC is more effective in how his punches affect his opponents. Floyd's got a great jab to the body that makes his opponents switch gears and re set which works well for his style...PAC is relentless and he throws a lot with more power.

Mayweather jabbed to the body somewhat regularly in every fight that I can remember. It's one of his most effective punches as it not only winds opponents but brings their guard down so he can land the straight right after a faint.

    Try again :hi:

Rounds 7 and 8 where Cortez allows prolonged clinching, Mayweather destroys Hatton on the inside.
