Erik Morales admitted he's got problems with people who can move, as was his excuse following the loss to Raheem. He said "I wanted to challenge myself against a moving target" prior to the fight.

****ING HELL. I cannot believe I waste time speaking to a ****ing drooling ****** like you on here.

I vow right now - NEVER AGAIN.

Your brain is absolutely warped. Your head is the equivalent of an anal creampie.

From now on, we should be on each others' ignore list. I cannot converse with someone I find so horribly, hideously biased and ******ed. It's the most ridiculous waste of time imaginable.

I dont think that pop understands that styles make fights. A over the hill Morales was able to beat Pacquiao. Gets schooled by Raheem. Fights Pacquiao again this time is over the hill and weight drained, yet wins the 1st half of the fight.

Morales loses 2 of 3 to Barrera. Barrera gets run out of the ring by Pacquiao. Barrera fights a close competitive fight with Marquez. Marquez arguably beats Pacquiao twice.

Watch the Judah, Mitchell, Hatton fights and the Mosley fight and tell me he uses bodyshots sparringly or only jabs to the body

I'd go with Mayweather because his body attack has more variety to it, he doesn't always use it but when he wants to break an opponent down (Judah/Hatton/Mitchell) he certainly does

You guys take "styles make fights" far too far. I notice that **** all the time on here. Just because Morales was not at his best vs mobile fighters does not mean that anyone who can fight on the outside automatically beats him. If it was that easy, I'd jog round the ring apron and UD him myself.

We arent talking about you, we are talking about Amir Khan. Olympic silver medalists, and probably the best fighter at 140 today. And someone I think has P4P potential.

I can't get over this post. There must be blind ******ed orphan babies somewhere in the Third World who understand boxing better than this epic failure of a human being.

Problem is 'styles make fights' doesnt apply to Floyd. He has the style that contains no flaws according to his fans.

Its because Floyd has fought every style and has come out unscathed. Meanwhile Manny Pacquiao has been beat up by right hand dominate fighters multiple times in his career.

However Winky Wright, Oscar De La Hoya, Vernon Forrest type fightrs, fighters with reach, ability to pick punches off with their gloves and dominate jabs I believe give Floyd fits.

I cant forsee any way Floyd beats Winky Wright at any point in his career. Oscar would give Floyd fits at any stage. And if the floyd who fought Oscar at 154 fought Forrest instead he probably loses.

If the "styles make fights" rules were absolute, we'd all already be billionaires because the outcome of every fight would be pre-ordained.

"Oh Morales cannot defeat a mover? Bet the house on him then".

That's how easy it would be.

Quality levels are also important in boxing. "Styles make fights" is balanced by "the cream rises to the top".

That's why a 'mover' with a 14-11-2 record and no world or domestic title experience would not be able to turn up, impose his style on Morales, and beat him.

Morales would easily overcome that perceived stylistic disadvantage to win the fight through using his experience, physical abilities, and by adapting as best he could.

"Styles make fights" is only a guide, it's not a magic formula.

Although Amir Khan can move, he moves back in a straight line with his chin in the air whenever he is threatened. He also has no concept of how to defend against an uppercut. He also has a shocking all-round defence and a weak jaw.

Erik Morales is much more complete, rounded, and all-round vastly, vastly superior.

That I even have to waste time explaining something like this is demoralizing.

People said Roberto Duran couldn't deal with 'movers' after his fights with SRL and Benitez. So I suppose by the "styles make fights" absolute rule, he would also lose to Paulie Malignaggi, yes?

    FFS. :fire

the morales that beat pac or even the one that pac beat would have smashed the weight drained corrales that floyd fought.
