You think Clottey would catch floyd with jabs lol? If Clottey tried to hit Floyd with a jab, Floyd would would use the pull counter and land the straight right all night long. Clottey doesnt have the speed or offensive technique to hit Floyd.

And who has Clottey beaten in his career. Who has Clottey faced besides Pacquaio even on Floyds level?

Pacquiao showed one way to beat clottey. Which ws throw a bunch of punches, keep Clottey covered up and get roughed up in the process.

Floyd Mayweather would show the easier way to beat Clottey, which is clinical and precise boxing.

No fighter without a great offense is ever going to make Floyd struggle.

you think corrales was really comfortable at 130 when he fought casa? and when he returned back to 135 he stopped freitas and castillo back to back. so something must be making him strong at 135 which seems he has a problem at 130 and that must be being drained.

He was comfortable enough to beat Casamayor. You think a weight drained fighter beats El Cepillo?

it would start with a floyd body jab and a hook, but clottey would open up with his fast straight jabs then you said floyd will follow with a pull counter and a straight right? that means floyd will use a 4 or more succession of punches to offset clottey's guard. floyd would be more economical than what you are suggesting that's why i said it would be more of a stinker than a floyd domination.

clottey faced cotto and gave him hell. faced margarito and gave him all he can handle. no one has beaten clottey easily and even pac has to keep his workrate up just to keep clottey at guard. if it was a lesser fighter like judah, he would be bullied by clottey, oh wait it already happened.

the easier way means outpointing him by a couple of punches per round. yeah that's too easy and could be a stinker since clottey would be the most defensive fighter floyd could have fought.

digging deep and getting a SD doesn't mean he was comfortable especially if he was stopped previously. why would he fight at 135 next and stop freitas and castillo after?

No doubt it'd be a stinker, but Floyd would land about 200 more punches then Clottey would. And I think Clottey would land less punches then Marquez did on Floyd.

And I didnt say Floyd would follow. I said if Clottey throws a jab he would be countered easily by floyd. Clottey is not anywhere near elite speed for a fighter.

Floyds jab to the body would cause Clottey to cover up as he always does when he is punched, then Floyd's right hook would pierce Clottey's guard behind the ear, just like Floyd did with Oscar. And like Floyd did with Oscar he would skip back out of range, rinse and repeat. Floyd would be able to open up on Clottey more then he has with any opponent aswell, because there is literally nothing coming back.

Cotto is B level. Margarito is B level. Corley, Torres, Malignaggi, and Zab Judah also gave Cotto fits. For the record I scored Cotto vs Clottey to Clottey, and Clottey vs Margarito a draw. However Mayweather is miles above those 2 fighters and unlike those two fighters is a precise counter puncher who is patient, wheras they are offensive minded fighters who fight into Clotteys hands.

Morales did pretty well against Kelly who was still a top level cutie, the boxer mover Guty Espadas probably beat him first time though. Khan isn't a great boxer mover though, defensively he's nothing special

clottey has a surprisingly fast jab for a big welter. it's not elite but it's fast enough when he uses it and straight to target. with his defense, size and strength, he would surely make anyone work for it.

i don't agree that clottey would not open up on floyd, well at least not until the final few rounds where it seem clottey has problem with stamina or just freezing it out. don't confuse it with the pac fight since pac's workrate and offense did not allow clottey to fight back more often. even against cotto and margarito, clottey has been moving forward and eating those punches and most of them are landing on his guard.

basically i agree with the jist of your analysis but i don't think that it would be that easy for floyd since he doesn't have the size, power nor workrate to make clottey respect him. those one or two precision punches every 20 seconds would not discourage clottey.

if cotto and margarito is B level, how do you rate baldomir and judah then? malignaggi and judah were both dominated by cotto. torres was a hard-hitter and we know that cotto could have an issue regarding his chin at 140. besides, he recovered well and stopped torres.

this site gets dumber and dumber by the minute. floyds body work is jabs from the outside and pacmans are right hooks from mid-range.

picking floyd is like saying malinaggi is a better bodypuncher than roberto duran. you people make me sick.

You have never had an objective day posting in your life about Floyd. Your daily miserable posts leak pro Pacquiao juice daily which is why nobody respects you or your alts opinions on Floyd/Pacquiao.
