Yet you've added nothing other than sarcastic ***** like insults to combat the mans opinion (which at a minimum he supported with legitimate information). You come in make your little shitty comments but do nothing to support your own take. Regardless of whose "right" if you are going to take the man to task over his post, do so with some god damn balls and respect. Is this idea really that foreign to you, because it would seem that this would be "understood".

why not? Pac was an ex bantamweight fighting welters he shouldn't be beating. Floyd should be fighting guys he shouldn't be beating to equal that feat.

Carlos hernandez and Jesus Chavez, the two champs at that weight back to back after Floyd vacated it. He moved up and took it over in two fights. The only possibly better guys he ever faced at that weight were Genaro hernandez and Corrales, Castillo was at 135. I give credit for Genaro and Corrales, who Erik did not face.

who was better at 130 that Floyd beat than Genaro Hernandez, Corrales, Jesus Chavez, and Carlos hernandez then? Those are his best wins at the weight by far, and Chavez and Hernandez regained their belts and were relevant for years after fighting floyd.

Angel Manfredy? by the time Morales moved to 130 G. Hernandez was retired and Corrales would have a tumultuous career of great ups and downs.

I bolded "possibly" because it's a ridiculous understatement. Corrales and Hernandez were a lot better than Hernandez and Chavez, and either guy would be extremely live against Morales (especially Corrales). Manfredy wasn't much better or worse than Chavez or Hernandez.

Yes, but I meant it as in saying the only guys who could possibly have been better than c hernandez and j chavez were g hernandez and corrales. I know they are better. but imo Morales handled those two almost as handily as Floyd did, though not quite (I know, Floyd had a hand injury against hernandez and Chavez was one armed against Morales, but still)

to further clarify, I really meant no one else at 130 could possibly have been as good as those guys, except the two guys who were better.

pacquiao does.... Mayweather is a clean guy though..they wouldn't be in this position a decade or so ago.... just see a washed ODH fight a prime Mayweather... li'l pac wouldn't have stand a chance either... not even with a thousand shakes (Ariza's)..

Guys are severely underestimating Floyds overall comp. Freakin amazing lmao. When you do see the poll names, go figure lol... I thank Pacquiao for bringing more Philippinos boxing fans to the sport though lol. I just hope they continue to follow boxing when Pacquiao retires.

His competition is good, but MAB/EM/JMM are like living legends, and then Pac's short stature makes it seem like he doesn't belong in against any of the welters, but he seems to be killing them.

Floyd is not shorter than most of the welters, and didn't have the luxury of fighting same size legends (Shane and Oscar are as close as it got, arguably just a little too late, obviously the same is true of Pac). Because of his skill he doesn't get enough credit for starting at 130 as pac does for beating people up but once upon a time having a 118 lb or less frame. ie - Floyd doesn't have to engage guys physically to beat them, Pac seems to be doing that and winning easily, thus the credit he gets for the hatton and Cotto wins.

Floyd HAD great competition and its been better lately, but there was a stretch at welter where the most relevant people were not on his radar, but Ortiz and then Pac would be a step in the very right direction.
