Pac doesnt need to be versatile with his speed. it nullifies most boxers offence just by being so athletic, quick and powerful.

he has improved greatly under Roach but i always feel his best defence is his offence. i dont think Pac is fantastic fighting going backwards. Morales showed this in their first fight

Being versatile is having a variety of skill sets.

Can emmanuel prevent most guys from getting inside? Yes, but emmanuel LACKS inside fighting ability.

Floyd's signature pull counter straight is ENGINEERED FOR COUNTERING JABS, and he also his a great jab himself. The same can't be said of emmanuel's jab.

emmanuel didn't know how to put Mosley's back in a corner or against the rope. Floyd did it smoothly.

emmanuel doesn't how to play the clinch game.

Does emmauel have skills at controlling distance and setting things up with a jab? Yes. Is he a great inside fighter, jabber, or ring cutter? No. His current skill set was practical enough for him throughout his career, so that's what he trained in over time and never had the need to develop more skills. Now he's an old dog set in his ways.

:verysad maybe he won all those rounds because his orignal plan was doing so well and didn't need to adjust at all.
Since you said Floyd lost more rounds, maybe it means he lost a few rounds and then adjusted enough to sweep the rest of the fight.

You haven't given any specific examples or anything so this is all hypothetical

thats exactly what your doing callin people dumbasses becuse they disagree with you.

you think Pac is more versatile than Floyd go ahead. Think that up to you.

Why do you think he is? because he has won more rounds against opponents he was always favoured to easily beat?

    thats the worst reasoning ever.

This thread is an example of Floyd's versatility
    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=282158

Also a perfect example of it is shown in the Castillo fight. He boxed Castillo and used the ring in the first part of the fight. He even switched southpaw a few times. The fight got a little rough and it got dangerously close toward the end, so Floyd comes out in the 11th round and fight Castillo who weighed in as a welterweight, and fights him up close in the pocket.

That is versatility. I'm just asking for an example like this from Manny

is this their first fight because i had Castillo winning that by a round. probably not best example as i think Floyd had no choice but to go inside and rough him up in later rounds.

Wtf .. this is what you said (see above)

You example to prove your point was totally ridiculous as everyone knows Pac didnt line up bums to tally his wins, so why make that point?

I just paid in kind with this piece of "example extremism"

And you fell for it like a raving idiot.
    Good Job :good

yeah I was speaking on the first one.

The Chavez fight is just like that also. Floyd came out boxing him, and then ended the fight beating Chavez up in the pocket
