when you call yourself the ATG#1...you BETTER go out there and BEAT EVERYONE [that's worth a damn], and you better keep beating them as long as they keep coming and as long as you're willing to stand there and take it! :deal

Nobody expects him to bust his balls for 100K again. But is it too much to ask for him to bust his balls for 10-30Mill?

I enjoy boxing as a spectator sport and if Floyd is going to practice 'ducking' quality opponents I'd prefer he did it IN the Ring. :D

I'm sorry if you feel I'm being unfair to him, by "stand there and take it" I mean that if he chooses to retire for good I will respect the decision and as always respect his accomplishments in the ring, but if he chooses to stay in the game then please by all means actually play the damn game.

at 35 probably around 7 I'd have liked to see him in with guys like Casa or Johnston. I know Casa wasn't really fighting there much but he only had a few fights with the best being Castillo in a pretty much split pair.

    Genaro Hernandez

    Diego Corrales

    Jose Luis Castillo

Oscar Delahoya at 154 lbs (his 5th weight as a pro)

Were all worthy of true elite status IMO, there are many more very good fighters but those guys are hard to beat at the time Floyd beat them, really hard.

#1 - I can't believe this thread starter even asked the question.

It seems that many have jumped on the Floyd hate-wagon purely to make conversation on forums. {And I'm not directing this to the thread started in specific} Anyone, I mean anyone who has followed boxing seriously, knows full well how Floyd became a P4P future HOF'er. There is no doubt in the boxing historians, announcers, writers or hard-core fans minds, that Floyd is all that and some more. And this praise wasn't given to him ... HE TOOK IT!!!!

All this recent BS about him is total nonsense. Where were all these nonsensical threads about Floyd prior to his decision to go for the money {Pre-wealterweight} ?????? You won't find any!!!!!! ...

Floyd's decision to turn his elite status into a gold-mine came only after he had made his mark {Pre-wealterweight}. He clearly came into the realization that with all the glory he was receiving for his work inside the ring wasn't equating to riches outside of the ring. That is when he made the conscience decision to become BRASH, LOUD, AND NOISY.

Prior to that decision all you heard from Floyd was from those who praised his demonstrated talent. Since he changed his position from a calm, quite all-star boxer, to a loud, nasty, braggart ... he has made over 100 Million. And stirred up the pot of non-knowledgeable, so-called boxing fans.

So to all those fools who think or don't really know about Floyd ... You really need to Chilll!!!! ...... OR do your freakin homework.

I would guess that's a little calmer reply ... lol!!!

Genaro Hernandez at 130 with little experience in his 1st world title shot.
An undefeated Diego Corrales at 130, one sided masterclass.
    Jose Luis Castillo at 135.
    Delahoya at 154.

Those guys are really hard to beat when Mayweather beat them, no doubt.
