Did those guys weigh less than 140? I thought Welterweight is from 140 to 147, correct me if I'm wrong? If not, then you know nothing about boxing! :hat

No I'm afraid a win over Hatton means nothing for either Pac or 'Money', Hatton was never more than a WBU fraud who's only notable win is over a shot Tszyu on the verge of retirement. Hatton was a fat alcoholic commercial hype job fraud, nothing more. Hatton has no technique, no dedication, no legacy. He will not be remembered, he was a nothing fighter.

Id say he is more proven than Pacquiao.

TRY PUTTING THE "OFFICIAL" RATINGS DOWN ON EACH FIGHTER...

PUT DOWN WHERE THEY WERE ACTUALLY RANKED AT THE TIME OF THE FIGHT AND YOU'LL SEE FLOYD IS MORE PROVEN WHEN IT COMES TO BEATING HIGHER RANKED FIGHTERS IN THIS DIVISION..

THAT IS A FACT AND YOU CANNOT ARGUE IT...NOW ARGUING BASED ON OTHER FACTORS IS MOS DEF DEBATABLE..

BUT FLOYD HAS BEAT HIGHER RANKED FIGHTERS :deal

Oh God Damn, really, Clottey is "a Far better" fighter than Ortiz...Dawg Clottey had a brief run of being at the bottom of the "Good" class. He isn't now and hasn't been for years, that fighter. Please stop with the Clottey ****, Ortiz ****s his inactive and shelled up as up...

The fact that you have to include the gobbage of a fight Margarito to his WW resume when it clearly wasnt a WW fight lets u know how much u have scrap and claw to produce at least a decent list for Pac.

    His resume is laughable...

Oscar come on do we really need to mention anything here?

Clottey - Only LEGIT WW fight in my opinion..no catchweight or anything Clottey although not that good still was a top 3-5 WW.

Cotto - Could have been a great win except he threw the catch weight bullshyt in there for a clear advantage because he had already shown he didnt need a catch weight with Oscar and Clottey at 147...he chose to for Cotto strategicly.

    Mosley - see Oscar comments

Pac's WW resume is laughable....he only gets praise because he big im little gobbage!

Margo is not a WW fight...and it was a disgusting fight anyway!

He's only irrelevant because Pacquiao made him look irrelevant. Before that he almost got a victory over a prime Cotto. He dominated Judah far better then your boy Floyd did. He was a good fighter , not elite level, but good enough to beat just about everybody else. Ortiz is just a decent fighter, with a lot of experience left to gain.

    Mayweather
    Mitchell - irrelevant fight
Judah - tainted due to how Zab let himself get upset but the contract was already done
Baldomir - best man @ 147 at the time. Not a good fighter by any means.
    Hatton - good win
Marquez - We'll see how much of Marquez failing had to do with Floyd after Juan fights emmanuel.
Mosley - Floyd's best win at welter. He beats the top welter for the 2nd time in his career. Mosley was over the hill at this time but was the most dominant fighter in the Mosley-Cottoe-margaritoe triangle.

    emmanuel

Oscar - shot. I don't blame this on emmanuel, Oscar's cherry pick backfired onto him.
Cotto - emmanuel's best win at welter. It's tainted due to how emmanuel issued an unnecessary catch weight. Miguel didn't exactly come off an impressive performance either.
    Clottey - okay win
Mosley - shot. Even emmanuel's fans thought this fight shouldn't have even happened. Joke performance from both fighters.

It really comes down to Floyd's Hatton-Mosley combo vs emmanuel's Cotto-Clottey bouts.

Mitchell, Hatton and JMM were not real legit 147lb fights in my opinion and none were top 10 WWs at the time of fighting him.

Pacquiao's best legit 147lb wins were Clottey and Cotto.

Based on Ring Ratings Floyd has fought more guys ranked. Floyd has had more fights at WW regardless if they were legit or not.

Margarito was not a 147lb fight.

    Mayweather: Hatton, Mosley
    Pacquiao: Cotto, Clottey

Who would win? Hatton vs Cotto? Clottey vs Mosley?

Cotto wins a tough bout against Hatton.

Mosley beats Clottey for obvious reasons.

I wouldn't cancel out Clottey's abilities against Mosley. Mosley is 40 yrs old. Clottey gave Cotto a good fight and some say Clottey actually won against Cotto. Styles makes a difference and so is age ( Bhop is an exemption ) Clottey beats Mosley. Mosley from 2000, I don't think Clottey stands a chance but now it's a whole different story.
