Pac didn't magically become a great fighter at 25. He was 24 when he destroyed Barrera to become a three division champion, two times lineal. That's something many great fighters don't do in their entire lifetime.

He won his first lineal title at only 19 years old.

He just flew under the radar for so long because he was from the Philippines and also mismanaged.

this, floyd expect only fighters who start their career with olympic hype to become great.

pac allready agreed to random blood testing and as i am to understand the jmm pac fight is going to be with HBO and not showtime. why is this significant? well because showtime commentators and interviewers dident even mention floyd or mannys future fight plans in hes post fight interview

HBO get down to the real nitty gritty and basically ask pacquiao to call him out if thats what he wants. this is where manny turns to the camera and says "any test anywhere any time" floyd gets what he wants and the fight is on :)

Good. I guess we wont have to hear him cry about money or the split once it comes down to negotiations and Pac takes the tests then. :good

Tired of this nonsense Mayweather's creating by saying you need to have hype at the start to be great. Donaire is nearly 30 and he's just now starting to fufill his potential to be great. Before Darchinyan, few even knew who he was. Martinez is starting to become great in his 30s. There wasn't alot of hype around Hopkins until and after he fought Jones. Hagler even took a while to catch on hypewise. I don't know if Floyd is faking or maybe he don't really follow the sport as much as his skill level potrays.

Well, i still dont see how a blood test is a big deal when you can just prove how great you are, pass the test and **** up big bad mayweather. No way does a test mean, you do not want to fight.

true. for a guy like floyd who seems so sensitive with public perception and likes to study a boxer's history, he was actually misguided with his thought that pac all of a sudden became a good fighter upon reaching a certain age. he failed to recognize that pac was more younger than him when pac became a world champion. floyd is just trying to find an excuse as to why pac suddenly becomes a very good fighter failing to see that pac is not blessed with a world class trainer and was not protected as early in his career as him.

floyd would not even mention the improvements in pacquiao's game/skills from the start until he reached the point where he was surpassed by pac's accomplishments. it's convenient for him to say that all of these things are because of a certain magical stuff that his father and uncle invented on their minds.

In pac's 18th fight he was fighting the likes of Mike Luna while floyd was fighting the likes of Genero Hernandez:deal
