What they don't remember is that Mayweather was rumored to have signed for a fight with Margarito in 2006 and it was all over various sites with people going "What the hell?!, why Margarito?, Baldomir would have been better!". Then when it changed to Baldomir he's scared to death from Margarito.

Even if he fights Chavez Sr.'s ancestors these Tijuana cabdrivers will have an excuse to make it look bad.

Honestly, Mayweather's destruction of Diego Corrales was stuff of legends........the Castillo rematch was also impressive.....but then after that, just when a fighter is in his prime years, Mayweather to me seemed to be picking and chosing fighters who's style fit easier for his to beat.....

.....in any regards, I though Mayweather giving DLH the pounds and fighting in DLH's weight class was impressive (though I scored the fight a draw)

.....and Mayweather's handling of an undefeated Hatton is something to credit as well.

Though I think highly of Mayweather the fighter, the criticism he gets imo is fair as well......
....lets be real here, but even his fanboys deep down know the that the reason for his retirement was because Welterweight was loaded with legit fighters.....Williams, Cotto, Margarito.....

C'mon, Mayweather is coming out of retirement to fight two featherweights, when there are legit Welters out there more than qualified to share the ring with him.

.....in the sense, with all his talent, Mayweather did himself a disservice by retiring, and is doing himself a disservice in attempting to fight JMM and Pacquiao in succesion right out of retiremetn.......

......a hunch tells me that if Mayweather is succesful against those two, he'll retire again claiming he's reached the pinnacle.

It's not his problem those are the guys to fight in boxing right now, he doesn't manufacture opponents you know. Pacquiao is also #1 Light Welterweight, hardly a super featherweight there, Mayweather was a super featherweight too. Mayweather made a career fighting bigger opponents and is still planning to do so when he admitted BOTH Mosley and Pacquiao are planned for next. Pacquiao being the main target as he is the fight people demand right now, hardcore fans and casuals together.

 

Scar Margarito fought Clottey,Williams,Cotto and Mosley win or lose he fought fighters that your fake hero in your avatar will NEVER have the HEART or BALLS to fight.

Look at who's fighting next little guy's who are not even true 140 pound fighters.

i can't speak for everybody, but i've been in the ring many times....people know that...and i never called floyd a *****, it's other ***s in here who disrespect ATG'S all the time, their country, family and their opposition...yet you side with them cause they agree with you on 1 thing ......kind of hypocritical if you ask me....especially when your backing up a boy/girl who lies about how he looks, what color he is etc etc.....
