    This is old news.

The reason Mayweather objected to petitioning the commision to enforce OSDT is because petitioning had been done before and was denied.

Emmanuel Steward petitioned the same NSAC and asked for them steroid testing for the Leonard-Hearns rematch.

Steward saw how ripped Leonard looked for his fight with Hagler and he was hearing rumors in the boxing world that Leonard was juicing.
So Steward petitioned the NSAC and was flatly denied.

So the simple answer for Mayweather not wanting to petition the NSAC is because he already knew what there answer was previously by the commision for the Leonard-Hearns rematch.

Mayweather knew that he can stipulate anything he wants in a fight contract, but he cant force any boxing commision to make PED testing changes on a whim and have them approve it just for one specific fight.

Let me also add that while this controversy with the PED testing was going on between Mayweather and Pacquiao, the NSAC voiced that they did'nt have the authority to intervene if both sides in a fight contract agreed to drug testing outside what the commision makes mandatory.

"We will follow our own protocol and they have the right to bring an outside source for further and more elaborate testing" is something along the lines of what a representative from the NSAC voiced.
........so in essence, the NSAC did make an informal ruling by stating publicly they would not intervene if both sides agreed to additional PED testing.

Listen, Arum, Pacquiao and all those cheats have been voicing that Paquiao will comply with only what the commision demands.
We all know that Arum, Pac and co....all know that if Mayweather petitioned the NSAC for further testing, the answer would be "no"

The NSAC have ruled "no" before, and even if they had'nt, Arum would make certain the right palms would be greased to get that "no" answer.:deal

No Pac asked Floyd to petition NSAC because he knew there was a good chance they were going to decline to do the full OSDT(Floyd's version)

Pac and members from his team said to Floyd and the media for him to petition NSAC and see what their ruling will be and if they say no, then lets move on and fight.

Pac wants the NSAC to tell them what tests to take because he knows it won't be as strict as Floyd is asking for

How you know? Has Floyd ever said or did anything to make you believe that. I actually want year round random testing, but I bet Pacquiao would have more problems with it than Floyd

What was your point in adding that, if not to suggest he can't be gay since he has kids? That's one quesation you run from in typical blizz fashion.

And two, what's your POV on this article, another question you are pussing out on from answering. :deal

exactly this and especially the part I highlighted.
This doesn't change the fact that Manny could have just agreed to test

You didn't think Nevada state athletic commission would not agree to that.
I'm fairly sur the state is willing to shell out $100,000 per fighter for testing to have a chance at hosting the biggest fight that can be made in boxing. A fight that will probably net Nevada at least 50 million dollars in concessions, hote accommodations and taxes???

    Say what :huh

:patsch Bull****. Not to say your Hearns - Leonard **** isn't true, but suggesting that THAT is the reason Floyd has not even asked, it pretty ludicrous. I know you are desperate to believe Pac can only beat JMM while on PED's, but things are different today in the WHOLE world of boxing Divac. Including the blood testing regiments used 30 years ago compared to today.
