Rant? I only questioned the validity of the email, like people did with Teddy. To which I said even if it was true this only proved that both fighters were lying therefore on this alone you can't JUST blame Mayweather for it not happening. I am not exactly sure what you are getting at?

No one is just blaming mayweather we are waaaay beyond that point. There is dirt on both sides but a question of who has more of it. Yeah I know its a pointless debate but you have to be apart of it to survive the general.

Floyd ducked this fight in 2009.

He ducked it in 2010.

He ducked it in 2011.

And now he's ducking it in 2012.



It seems Pacquiao, like Tszyu, Margarito, Cotto, Williams, Martinez and Mosley before Shane was a 38 year old man coming off a long lay-off, is going to be ducked by the master puppeteer, Fraud Mayweather.



Please, check my posts from 2009, 2010, and 2011. I have been saying from day one that this fight would never happen because Mayweather would pull something out of his hat to fool his fans and duck out of the fight, and every step of the way my belief has never wavered, and every step of the way I've been proven right, right and right again.



Pacquiao is the current p4p#1, he is already generally accepted as a "greater" fighter than Mayweather in terms of career accomplishments etc, he drew more ppv viewers than Mayweather in their most recent fights, and he drew 53,000 people to a stadium in Dallas for a fight with a relative nobody like Joshua Clottey (Floyd knows he could never do anything like that). If anyone doesn't deserve 50-50, it's obviously Floyd.

This is just yet another bull**** excuse to hide behind, exactly the same as the PEDs smokescreen cowardly bull****.



As I've always said, Mayweather has great skills, but boxing history will remember him as a guy who ducked the toughest challenges of his era and cherrypicked his every move.

But it's not just any, it's the actual email - I could effortlessly replicate any email in the world, and it'd look legit. It'd take a deep search, by someone professional to be able to tell that there's something up with this email.

Great, another thread about Pac/Floyd.... these guys do not deserve the adulation you guys give them, they have given us nothing but a slap in the face for over 2 years.

If they don`t fight each other next then its game over as far as I`m concerned, the only comfort will be that neither will ever be mentioned alongside the greats... & that will be 100% correct.

If 50/50 was not an issue before then it should not be an issue now & thats all I`m going to say because tbh, the`business`side of the sport makes me feel sick/disgusted/bored.

 

Really the 50/50 doesnt pertain to the purse split, it pertains to the revenue split, which Arum would be getting if he controlled the promotion. Floyd wants to guarantee Manny's purse just like Arum would and collect all the revenue himself as promoter. He can offer Manny a larger purse than hes ever made. He doesnt want to share that with Arum and thats what hes been doing in his fights. Manny is demanding half of all that and hes never gotten that in the past.

Manny would still stand to make more than hes ever made even giving a piece of his purse to Arum in a co promotion type fight.

Whats going to happen is Mayweather will fight Miguel Cotto if he cant come to terms with Manny and he will guarantee Cotto a payday bigger than Arum can and Floyd will collect all the promotional revenue. Cotto is a free agent now and wants to contract one fight at a time until his career is over.

That fight will be very big and sell better than Manny Peterson which looks like the most likely fight if the fight with Floyd falls through.
