 Nobody wants this fight. They're all just posturing for the media, and Floyd is just ****ing around right now. Offering $40 million, releasing Manny's base purse numbers to make idiots think he's making total peanuts... He's just talking **** and I bet you he's laughing his ass off right now.

Was turning the entire perception around, and then drops this PR version of his 2 piece and biscuit of no to 50/50 and now 40 million flat, while he takes home maybe twice that with ppv and gate.

Strange, cause he has the best advisory team with business.

Like you're conveniently ignoring Pacquiao outsold him last year and in two of the past three years when they've been going head to head and fighting at the same time. Common opponents and average over 5 years present too many variables to be used to properly determine who is the bigger draw while ignoring recent numbers. Floyd fighting once a year as opposed to Pacquiao fighting twice also works in Mayweather's favor unfairly, as historically no fighter had ever had two PPVs do more than 1 million buys in the same year before Pac did it last year.

As we stand, last year in the same climate, Pacquiao outdrew and outsold Mayweather, their fights coming only a couple months apart. Same thing happened in 2009. Mayweather outsold Pac in 2010 under the same circumstances. That's the fairest you're going to come to a proper gauge of their drawing power. However there are also variables there which might have effected those numbers, as you mentioned before, with each of their opponents' differing box office appeals.

Mayweather can claim common opponents average and PPV average since 2007, Pacquiao can claim all-time PPV sales and more importantly recent PPV sales and gross, which is more relative to the current day. Right now Pacquiao is the bigger draw.

You are conveniently ignoring that Pacquiaos last 3 fights have never been confirmed. The only source people got is Bob Arum.

Meanwhile Mayweather officially holds 3 highest non heavyweight PPV´s.

Pac-Marquez did 1.41, Pac-Mosley 1.10 according to that Yahoo writer who is an expert on PPV numbers. Pac-Margarito did 1.15, that's been confirmed.

Of fights that did over 1m, Pacquiao is as prevalent, don't know what you are talking about Mayweather holding the 3 highest selling non-heavy fights

    DeLaHoya-Mayweather 2.4M
    Pacquiao-Marquez 1.41
    Mayweather-Mosley 1.4
    Mayweather-Ortiz/DeLaHoya-Pacquiao/Pacquiao-Cotto 1.25
    Pacquiao-Margarito 1.15
    Pacquiao-Mosley 1.10
    Mayweather-Marquez 1.05

Arum don't think pac is the bigger draw seeing as he is not paying him anywhere near what mayweather is earning.

You think Floyd did that alone??? Floyd did that with OSCAR, the biggest non-HW PPV draw ever, and you can't bring up Pac-DLH because apparently DLH was "shot" against Pac and not against Floyd:deal

DLH was an old, shot, DRAINED fighter who had NO chance and thus would have done nothing for Pac's resume had Pac won one-sidedly- so its no wonder why people wouldn't be interested in that fight eh :deal
