Joe Calzaghe has beaten good/great African American schooled fighters. Vitali Klitschko has beaten African American good fighters in their prime. Juan Marquez has won and lost to some good African American schooled fighters in their prime. Many Pac HAS YET to beat a African American schooled fighter...IN HIS PRIME. Tonight Antonio Margarito faced Shane Mosley and lost, and even though he lost...AM has fought African American schooled fighters who are respected...and in their prime.

Beating an African American schooled boxer is NOT the apex of accomplishments in boxing. I do not mean to say this to sound like a bigot/idiot because I am not accusing/painting one race of fighters of not doing this, just the individual fighter...and if my opinion comes across as being bigoted, Eastside Boxing moderators please erase this thread because I am not a bigot. Please do not ban me, and I will apologize to the forum administrator as well as its fans.

I believe that Caucasian fighters have to beat Black fighters, and VICE VERSA in order to be considered great. The same goes for Black and White fighters...they have to face/beat Mexican and Puerto Rican fighters, and fighters of any other race...if they are an elite fighter. Basically I will say it in a nutshell. As long as you have defeated or at least fought every type of mainstream boxing style ethnically at your level IN THEIR PRIME, you will be respected by me! That is just my belief as a boxing fan. Deep down I think many feel the way I do.

Gene Tunney is penalized in history because he drew the color line. Jack Johnson is penalized because he didn't defend his title against black fighters even though he fought them before he won the title. Marciano is respected by me because he beat African American fighters. Any elite fighter imo has to have fought every mainstream style of boxing. Pac has not faced an elite black or white fighter...and therefore is NOT pfp #1 on my list. As long as Floyd is out of boxing...right now Joe Calzaghe is the best pfp fighter in the world. When you face every style of boxing, you are respected by me as pfp thee best in the world. Cal and Floyd have done this!

The truth is that between featherweight and 140 what world class Afro American fighters exist. Your point borders on racism and desperation.

 

Everything you said here is true. Unfortunately most of Pac's die hard fans are too ignorant about these aspects of boxing and see Pac with tunnel vision.

 

Tim Bradley, Nate Campbell, Kendall Holt,Devon Alexander to name a few. All hold or have held world championship belts. How is that for "existence." Pac went through each of their divisions. In fact, Pac never fought Guzman or Valero who aren't African American but count for other fighters he sidestepped.

 

Bull****. Kendall Holt and Tim Bradley who is unbeaten. Both hold or held belts at 135.

 

Pac clearly avoided Mosley who was willing to even drop to 140.
