Anyone can be beat. The odds of beating Floyd are always going to be low because of his style and versatility. That is what it is and that's how he fights.

    did that interview with Floyd, dug in his ass, and everyone applauded him? That interview happened right after the Marquez fight. There are two things that really stood out to me in that interview. One was that RA said Mayweather needed to fight Mosely, and two was that he needed to fight guys that are ranked in the top 2 of his division. Here's a list of Floyd's opponents since the Judah fight;

Baldomir - Ranked number 1 at WW
De La Hoya - Ranked number 1 at JMW
Hatton - came up in weight
Marquez - came up in weight
Mosely - Ranked number 2 at WW
Ortiz - Ranked number 2 at WW
Cotto - Ranked number 1 at JMW

That's 5 opponents ranked in the top 2 of his division or higher in his last 7 fights. The big fight we all want hasn't happened, but it's not like he's fighting scrubs. That's a pretty good run.

Yes its not bad. He was right to have a go at him. The media is way to nice to floyd. Because if your not, you don't get to be at his media events, simple as that.

So everyone kisses his ass. Fact it I can't remember when floyd took a legitimate challenge where it looked like he could lose. De La Hoya and Hatton were probably his toughest fights out of those.

But all the others he was rightfully a massive favourite to win.

It was good that someone told him the truth for once, even if it was alittle harsh, floyd imploded again and was nearly crying again.
Remember a while later he had another interviewer over the radio acting tough against him and he just started all these "no you definitely aint black" type comments rather than answer the questions in a mature way.
If someone did it again nowadays he would go crazy again, he hasnt learned **** because he cant handle people critisizing him.

R.A didn't tell him the truth. He claimed Floyd needed to fight top 2 guys, and then totally dismissed Baldo and Hoya even though they were both top 2.

Many people in the public eye react negatively to criticism. In fact, everyone in general doesn't like to be criticized. When you're in the public eye, it happens all the time. When you've been at the top of your sport for 10+ years, and people still act like you haven't accomplished anything, that can get even more frustrating. Regardless, Mayweather doesn't need to go off on these people. It doesn't help him.

Go read the Mayweather vs Mosley rbr. Ra merely echoed the sentiments of many of the dumbasses on here, thinking that a big welter would be able to finally beat the villain.

    Still love his raps.

You have a limited memory. A LOT of people on here were saying Floyd was ducking Mosley, was scared of Mosley, and would never fight him (because Mosley called him out and they claimed Floyd looked scared). It was only AFTER the fight and when all Floyd's haters switched to the "Mosley is shot" excuse because Floyd dominated him so much...

Also, loads of people thought De La Hoya would beat Mayweather, and he was definitely a legit challenge. The odds were 2-1 in favor of Mayweather for that fight. The odds are 2-1 in some places for Mayweather-Pacquiao... so you have to ask yourself, is that a legit challenge?

you got so many holes in what you said its hilarious.

prime/undefeated cotto - how exactly was he supposed to fight cotto when floyd has left top rank and was in a feud with arum ? also cotto has said he never tried to make a fight with floyd happen in the past. so can floyd avoid a guy who didnt try and fight him ?

prime margarito - in 06 he turned a fight with margarito because he was trying to make a fight with oscar. margarito was also another top rank fighter

prime paul williams - everybody avoided him, even pacquiao
prime mosley - this is hilarious actually do proper research before you say something stupid. when mosley was in his prime, floyd was the one trying to make the fight happen.in fact he offered mosley a fight back in 05 or 06 and mosley turned it down, coming up with ridiculous excuses such as " i plan on travelling with my family"

prime clottey - lmaooooo are you serious did you say floyd avoided clottey. clottey was never around when floyd was at 147. clottey first world title fight was in august 2008. mayweather had already retired 5 months before. clottey was never in a position to be a credit opponent for floyd
