lets look at it this way though
    Mayweather

    Mitchell-not a good one
Judah-Champ people wanted the fight to happen
    Baldomir-Undisputed welterweight champion
Hatton-undefeated but above his best weight, still good
Marquez- two weight classes above his best, still got dominated and years later fought Pacquiao closeley, decent-good win
Mosley-#1 welterweight and #3 p4p people said Mayweather didnt have the balls to fight him

    Pacquiao

DLH-in a weight he hadnt fought in for almost 10 years, way out of prime
Cotto-catchweight, had recently barely beat clottey, and gotten destroyed by margarito
Clottey-doesnt have a single good win
Margarito-after the wrap scandal coming of a long layoff, being destroyed by Mosley and beating a nobody
Mosley- close to 40 years old coming with a record of 0-1-1 in his last two fights

there are many ways to look at it other than this

Margarito-LOL...Margarito was not a ww when they fought. Can't take this one serious because he has too much bias.

Look at the rankings of all fighters, in the world and in the division, when they fought.

Floyd fought the higher ranked world opponents and higher ranked division opponents.

Don't bother arguing with him. He loves Pacquiao so much and has a shrine in the corner of every room with nothing but Pacquiao pictures etc...

He really thinks he knows boxing when in truth he just watches Manny.

Anyone who rates Pacquaio's WW resume ahead of Mayweather's is a ******.

Floyd beat the THE top guy in the 147lb division on at least TWO seperate occasions. Manny has NEVER fought the TOP rated 147lb fighter.

    NEVER.

*******s need to stop smoking the crack...

what also funny is claim that mayweather hasnt fought real welterweights. but pacquiao last two opponents bradley and marquez has had to move up to fight him. plus oscar had to move down to 147, a weight he hadnt made in 8 years. hatton and marquez only had to come up fight floyd. lets compare their welterweight resume to see who actually fought proven welterweights

mitchell- neither were proven at welterwieght yet
judah - had been fighting at 147 for 4 years, this was floyd 2nd fight at 147 and judah was in his prime, dont say he wasnt credible becuase cotto fought him straight after floyd, he was the best guy out there for floyd to fight at that particular time
baldomir - spent his entire career at welterweight
    hatton- never impressive at 147
marquez - awful weight for him
mosley - proven welterweight, number 1 at the time
ortiz- 147 is his best, hes a true welterweight, he earned the fight beat berto

    now look at pacquiao

de la hoya- shot, drained de la hoya who hadnt made the weight for 8 years
cotto - fought a catchweight, the obivously tried to drain cotto becuase they fought oscar at 147 but would only fight cotto at catchweight. roach even said " the margarito fight took alot out of cotto and he hasnt looked good since" so cotto hadnt been the same fighter since margarito
clottey - just a punching bag, whats he proven at welterweight ?
mosley- hadnt won a fight for 2 and 1/2 years. he hadnt won his last two fights. he got dominated by floyd and looked awful in a draw with sergio mora.
marquez - had to move up two division at a weight he looked awful at against floyd

so overall both are not that great but still floyd is still better

    mayweather
    a wins (8 points)- none
a- wins(4 points)- judah, hatton, marquez, mosley, ortiz
    b wins(2 points)- baldomir
    b-wins(1 point)- mitchell
    losses-none
    overall- 23
    pacquiao
    a wins- none
    a-wins-cotto, clottey
    b wins-dlh, mosley, marquez(as controversial)
    b-wins-none
    losses-none
    overall-14

so by this system mayweather has achieved more than pac at welterweight.

thats what im trying to say Pacquiao has only fought old past it fighters or catchweihts, the only legit is Clottey but he is not an A fighter

  9. Fact is Cotto at Welter is better than anything on Floyd's resume as a Welterweight.

Floyd's only good win is Baldomir. Hatton has no good wins as a Welter. Shane was out of the game for too long.

    Stop smoking crack, *******.

Cotto was coming off of a BRUTAL KO loss to Margarito and a gift decision over Clottey in his two previous fights before facing Pacquiao. Plus, the Pacquiao fight wasn't even contested @ the 147lb limit.

    GTFOOH.

hes doesnt belong here. hes too small. he should be at 140. he would clean that place up pretty good

  14. What?
Fighters that fight real dawgs like Cotto aren't gonna win every fight homey.
Cotto came in great shape and Pacquiao did it special. I did not think Pacquiao would be able to pull it off.
Even the Clottey win was dope.
Floyd never faced a top Welter who was not old. He left when the 147 division was out of control wit Williams, Cotto, Antonio, Sergio.

Obvious you are a Floyd fan boy. Floyd is my favorite boxer but I make sure not to get irrational about it when he has not got the big win.

Don't know why he ducked pacquiao and retired again when he could have taken him to school.

First off Pac fought Margarito at Jr. Middle not Welter. Second Floyd beat guys who were ranked higher at the weight than the guys that Pac fought. Don't let me get started with the catchweights (they both have catchweight fights at Welter) I've hated them since Lalonde got screwed. If he could of came in @ 175 Ray would have been ktfo!
