I have to agree. If we're going to dissect resumes, Floyd has the more impressive one, especially at WW.

Anyone have official rankings for Pacuiao's opponents dating back to 2004. I got the Ring and ESPN as the main rankings. Better than any other "body" out there.

    Check those.

Pacquiao's win over Barrera is probably better than any win Floyd has under his belt. Having lost doesn't mean you're worthless. He was prime, and Manny did the job right, before competing with great boxers like Morales and Marquez and moving on up to fight much bigger men.

Beating Morales in a rematch was impressive, considering Manny was still developing and Morales was proving throughout the first half of the fight that he had enough left in the tank to give a good fight and beat most other fighters around his weight class.

I have Pacquiao losing to Marquez all 3 times, but considering his technical flaws and their nearly identical size, he did very well for himself and put on a great performance in the 2nd fight.

DLH was obviously weight-drained, but I can't think of any lightweight moving up to do the same thing on that night. The same goes for Cotto, who despite being ill-prepared, would have probably knocked out anyone else Manny's size on that night. You could say similar things for Margarito.

Nobody expected Manny to handle Hatton like that, and he did it spectacularly, at 140.

Clottey had never been shut out like that before, and Manny made it look easy to the point that the image everyone has of Clottey now is no longer a formidable top welterweight competitor, but a joke.

This isn't counting guys like Solis and Ledwaba, who were linear champion and top contender, respectively, and add a little more depth to his resume.

    Floyd's top wins are probably:

De La Hoya, where Floyd impressively moved up to 154 and won a clear decision, despite looking out of control pretty often...

Hatton, who was still undefeated, though at 147, Floyd enjoyed a size advantage.

Corrales, who was dominated impressively, despite rumors of weight troubles.

Castillo, who Floyd beat handily in a rematch in a defensive fight.

I think Floyd beats Pacman, but Pac has the better resume of the two so far.. but at the end of the day, here how it is:
Why are both so high among the ATG's?
    Floyd: Because of his 0
    Manny: Weight classes

the scene which are full of *****s? so what does the poll result in scene looks like? and this poll is not good since this is not even a public poll. all the objective floyd fans would just vote floyd here.

pac has the better resume and it's not even close. maybe floyd should have fought more and taken on tough challenges like when pac takes on barrera, marquez and morales in just a 16 months span.

    Pacquiao's resume is great.
Mayweather's resume is very, very good.

Every resume could be better, even just slightly. But Pacquiao's is definitely more solid. Whereas Mayweather's is underrated by people who just simply don't like him.

You would find it hard to find a good number of current boxers who match or even top his resume.

I feel Pac has the more high end wins (and 3 losses. arguably 6), while Mayweather has more depth (and 0 losses, arguably 1). Overall I'd probably take Pac's though. Both have VERY GOOD resumes.
