I don't think most of his fans are dumb, but I have seen with my own eyes how a good number of them behave. . . I went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch Floyd fight Ortiz, and damn, never have so many loud, obnoxious, ignorant, and openly racist people been in one place so close together. . . I swear to god. . . "man, beat that mexican's ass", "oh shite, oh shite he knocked that beaner the fuqq out"! "laughing, and cheering Floyd when he went off on poor old ass senile Larry merchant; talking about "beat that white boy's ass beat that white boy's ass!"

EXACT SAME ATMOSPHERE when I went to see Mayweather/Marquez in the movie theatre. . .

I swear to god, NEVER AGAIN. . . I was expecting his fans to be learned, educated fans of the sweet science. . . But they were mostly all ignorant, annoying (didn't order anything, just all stole all good seats, and hovered rudely in front of everybody's way. . . ), and uneducated (could barely understand a word they were saying). . .

 

when they were playing the mexican national anthem, they all started sucking their gums like "man, this is america, why they playing that shite"? and Ortiz had fans present too. . shite was so damn rude. . .

 

you expected too much. the internet and boxing gyms are the main place I see educated boxing fans. quite a few burrito eaters were going off about nigg3r this and nigg3r that when Floyd schooled their Juan causing them to lose bets
