Conte only accused Ariza after Ariza had accused Conte and said he should be banned. It's tit-for-tat bull****. The only difference is, Ariza accused Conte, a proven cheat, after one of his fighters was caught. There was absolutely no reason for Conte to say that about Ariza.

If Montoya had any facts about Ariza, we'd likely know about it.

Montoya has been accused of saying it too though as he not?

I'm asking why he accused Ariza of it.

I didn't ask you to publicly apologize. Again, you jumped in and called me a moron before I even directed anything to you. I also didn't lie about anything.

Again, you're throwing generalized insults my way. You have nothing else to say so you fall back on the patronizing "i'm a better fan" line. Shameful.

So you discount Montoya and Conte calling Ariza a cheat, but you accept the implication that PBF has failed three tests, even though he's been tested 15x more than Manny and the results of said tests are public? You discount Montoya's accusations as they pertain to Ariza, but accept them with no problem as they pertain to PBF...that's just dumb as **** Jack, and I wish I had a better way to put it. You're a stand up dude, I enjoy our interactions for the most part, but this is just off base and to the intelligent people here...damn near offensive.

Jack doesn't understand his own bull****. Couple pages ago he says Gabriel is not petty and doesn't throw insults. I proved him wrong then he says but twitter doesn't count :rofl

Funny how twitter doesn't count when as a journalist Gabriel uses his twitter account as well as various other outlets to communicate his message to his followers

Twitter is the way that pretty well every major news story is broken these days. To write it off as "casual" is uninformed, especially since Gabe broke the Peterson and Berto stories via Twitter.

There is no reason to suspect Ariza is a cheat in any way and that's why it should be discounted. If Montoya releases a story which implicates Ariza, I'll suspect him then because I think Montoya has good sources. Right now, there isn't any shred of evidence to suspect Ariza of anything, unlike Mayweather.

Surely you see a difference between an off hand, random comment during an argument, and actually publishing an article?

Like I said, Twitter is a very casual site. If you wrote on there "I hate Miami Heat, I'm gonna kill LeBron" nobody would take it seriously but if you sent a death threat to his house, it'd be a legal matter.

It's all about context. In no way are an off hand comment on Twitter and a serious article the same thing.

Funny jack how you couldn't stop crying when Fat Dan was making a mockery of David Haye and his toe on twitter.

Prove me wrong; What was the exact tone of conversation between Ariza and Montoya? Was Montoya joking? Give me an entire transcript of what was said.

Like I said, Montoya was wrong to say things like that and I'm sure he'd agree. However, what people say on Twitter can't be taken too seriously. Had Montoya questioned Ariza in one of his articles, that'd be a different matter.
